Assuming the validity of others comments, I didn't know he'd stopped teaching or what his classes were like for latter generations. It's been 20 years since I last sat at a desk in his classroom, but many of the lessons he imparted have endured.
I can't say I've made much use of knowing polyatomic ions or titration procedures over the years since, but his dedication to science during my tenure there left a lasting impression on me.
There are some teachers you just don't forget.
I was so sad when I found out he left this year! He wall really awesome and really fun. usually the worksheets he gave us were exactly the same thing as the test so the tests were pretty easy.
He was a fun teacher, but he tends to use worksheets were copied from the textbook, so you really don't learn much. Just find the right heading and skim until you find a word from the question.
nicest guy ever. had him a while ago, and still love him! good teacher too!
