Great teacher! Felt really comfortable in his class!
I loved Mr. Tarlow! We had a lot of group discussions, which I loved.
Mr. Tarlow is an angry little jewish guy. Every once in a while he will come to school in a great mood and is funny and helpful, but most of the time he is harsh and cranky. He will love you if you volunteer a lot and read all the assigned books, but he doesnt have any sympathy for quiet/shy kids (me). Really easy class if you at least spark note all of your books. We hardly did anything other then discussing the novels all year.
Mr Tarlow is a tough teacher when it comes to writing. However, he will prepare you for the rigors of college level papers. Good job. Mr. T!
Mr. Tarlow is a great teacher. Once you understand his teaching style, you will love his class.
Difficult but great teacher. He really believed in me and was willing to help. This was the only English class I took that truely prepared me for college level papers. One of my favorites of all time.
There was a lot of work and high expectations but I felt that he taught well. One of the best teachers I've ever had. If he sees that you're trying, he will go the extra yard to help you out.
a lot of people dont like mr tarlow, but im in college now and he is the only teacher who taught us how to write college level papers. you may hate him but u'll b glad u had him.
He jokes a lot about serious stuff, but if you put your hand in the air once everyday, he'll probably give you a high grade.
I had him, and all i did was challenge everything he said. It made the class cery fun, and he gave me an A. I got sent into the hall alot, but it was worth it.
He is a very mean teacher. He threatens to fail you. He likes you a lot if you talk. He gives a lot of work and he has no eye brows!
He's not too helpful. He could act like he cared a bit more. :)
