Like another reviewer said, either you love him or you don't. He's a pretty fun teacher but he's pretty outspoken on his views. He's a staunch conservative and once called an Indian kid in my class a terrorist...
He is the best. Class is easy. His ways/acronyms/songs for remembering things for spanish are kind of abstract. Unfortunately he's gone. He went to Guatemala to do some stuff. So none of you can have him. He was a boss though.
He's a good man, but I'm not sure if he's a good teacher. He's too hyper to be able to teach in a closed room and he moves constantly, back and forth. I was also never able to take decent notes in his class because he always came up with phrases and nicknames. One time I was zoning out because I couldn't understand him and the one thing I randomly heard was Vin Diesel. I asked my desk buddy what Donde meant and apparently, he didn't understand either.
He is a great person overall and treats you like a friend, but definitely does not know how to teach. All our class does is talk and he never cared. Didn't push us hard enough. Doesn't know how to communicate as a teacher overall.
Donde is quirky, but a very nice guy. His class was sometimes confusing because he would give nicknames to parts of speech (if something has happenED it's an ED-word) and didn't always explain what they meant. Sometimes confusing. Enthusiastic.
Señor Ware is a great guy. He is always interested in my life both inside and outside of the classroom. He is a very kind, funny and caring man and always makes me feel good about myself. He doesn't give too much work and teaches us what we need to know to further our use of Spanish. Some refer to his controversial beliefs, but I have not had a problem so far, and I really respect his opinions and beliefs, regardless if I agree or not. All in all, if you have Señor Donde, you are lucky.
Funniest guy on the planet. He really knows Spanish and is there to teach you. He gets off track with joking around a lot and admiring the Spanish culture but when you ask questions, he'll explain it to you a million times until he knows you understand it. Spanish isn't for everyone, but if you're smart & can pick up on it, having Donde (ware=where..lol) is AWESOME. He makes class pretty fun and entertaining and has fun projects and ideas. He is so encouraging and made me want to pursue Spanish!
He really knows spanish, but is not good at teaching. He insists that everybody does stuff his way, such as binders, and hurts you hard in grades if you don't use his system.
He was an awesome person, and I loved when we got him off topic. But he assumed we all knew everything because of the class we were in. He was not a good teacher, but he was a great person.
He's a nice guy. I got an A my senior year so it all works out.
great guy, i actually failed tests. i have never gotten below an 85 on a test before him, i could not understand a word he was saying. often irrelevant and goes off on tangents.
good teacher. sometimes talks too fast. sometimes very inappropriate/maybe funny. i sort of like him
really funny, nice, and helpfull, i wasnt the best student but he helped me to pass the class and it was fun to go to class everyday, not alot of homework or tests
Yeah, all the school has on file for him is one Golden Apple Runner up winner & I believe a Golden Apple nomination from what I heard. Not a bad file to me. Awesome person and teacher if you get to know him!!!!!!
He preaches religion in class. It is a cover for his real behavior. If you only knew what the school has on file!
Wow, fun teacher to be around and u learn alot, one of the best teachers and u learn while having fun
He has a highly efficient way of learning new words, is creative, helpful, and kind. You must really STUDY to do well.
One of my least favorite teachers this year. He is a complete and total liar, and always gives tests and quizzes on things that we hadn't gone over at all. He's just horrible.
His ways of memorizing spanish and learning to use them to speak fluently are awesome. Spanish is so functional to me now. All you have to do is mind his "preaching" which is easy.
He talks a lot about his religious beliefs in class. He isn't someone who supports diversity. Although I learn Spanish well, I feel uncomfortable in his class
Mr Ware is an outstanding spanish teacher. Although I am in complete disagreement with his right wing political beliefs, I still enjoy his class. Maximo
He's like a parent who always compliments on the things done right, just makes you love coming to class and looking forward to what surpirse he's got next.
Very creative. A little too opinionated. Makes you love the class and the subject. Cares a lot.
Uses a lot of good methods, I still remember 95% of what I learned from him. However his political and religious speeches can get carried away.
Cares a lot. Knows his stuff well. has very interesting ways of remembering things. Should keep his opinions to himself unless he wants people hating him.
