Fannon tries to act like a hip guy, but can be immature sometimes. His class is only moderately difficult. Even though I got a D in it one semester I think it was more due to my own laziness. He's a fair grader and a good teacher. He also tries to "keep it real" and treats kids more like his peers than his students.
Can't teach, doesn't help students, and doesn't seem to care
Mr. Fannon knows his subject and is far superior than most teachers I have had. He always takes the time to make sure his students know the subject matter.
Very smart and intelligent man but I got a 100% in the class so it could have been harder.
I think Mr. Fannon is a really good english professor and knows his subject well. I would prefer a teacher who grades a little harder and expects more than to give out easy "A's". His door is always open for questions.
I took his classes from 98-2000 and haven't had many teachers as good as him since. Mr. Fannon is not full of himself, he's just smart and good at his job. I took him 3 times in one semester my last year at Canyon!
I find Professor Fannon engaging, very helpful, funny and very respectful of his students. There are students in my class that have taken him previously and had nothing but good things to say about Professor Fannon.
Awesome teacher, his lectures are awesome to listen to because he give out a lot of thought provoking ideas. I would take his class again if i could.
He is a good teacher, he just doesn't put up with bull. Which is not bad. I need him to teach, not Abdullah
Agreed, he's definitely not a bad teacher. He is a bit full of himself, but overall, his class is fairly easy sometimes and everything's well explained. That is, when Mrs. Abdullah isn't teaching.
He's not a bad teacher or bad guy but he can never try to see things from another person's point of view. His class is easy but he gives out a lot of page responses! And his essays are not graded fairly!
He's my dad. Kids that come here to say that my dad sucks probably did a crappy job in his class. You say he's full of himself, then you just don't have a sense of humor. You should get one they're nice.
It's true, Mr. Fannon can be a little full of himself sometimes. But he's still an amazing teacher and his Humanities class is very easy. Just follow his writing packet when you do essays!
He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is at school every morning and at lunch to give his students help. If you did not like his class you were probably lazy and did not do weell. his class can be hard.
Do the page responses for a better chance of getting an A or B. He's a tough grader on essays. If your in trouble ask for EC. I had a D then went to a C+ on the last day thanks to EC.
He's cool. Just do ALL the work (especially page responses) and you''ll do fine
I think that overall he has good teaching intentions, however not always the nicest. I don't think that he is full of himself, he is confident. I think that he is a bit demanding and demeaning.
Mr. Fannon has a great ability to make things make sense. His class is very rewarding, and he seems to be passionate about what he teaches. It's refreshing :)
He is so full of himself. He loves to impose his opinions on others and then end the conversation. In one word-lazy!
Umm, i have his online shakespeare clas, its hard and demanding! So idk how to rate it.. lol he seems liek an ok guy tho
This guy was so full of himself. No one cares about how great looking your wife is or how much you enjoy hockey. Stop putting everyone down.
cool, but sat me and my friend on opposite sides of the room to keep us quiet
he was awesome and willing to help. I had him his first year in 1998
