This class has been the most boring experience of my life. She has the same monotoned voice every day, and puts all of her students to sleep. Please have her amp up her class a little bit and put more excitement into her everyday routine. -Brandon Geller

McDannold probably has the longest tenure of any teacher at this school (I think since the 80's). Her class is really productive and fun

She is the kindest person and the endeavors to be an amazing teacher. She really knows her chemistry and cares about her students. She is wonderful... but that doesn't mean the class is terribly easy!

I had serrano for honors and AP Chem is still a joke. McDannold hates you if you think her class is easy. I don't pay attention and I get A's, which she resents

She's great at teaching Chemistry (because she really knows her stuff), but you have to get past her monotone first. You'll learn a lot, though.

She will answer any question you ask (unless you've been unattentive). If you do your HW and your lab notebook, it's an easy "A".

AP Chem requires significantly more work than Chem honors. It's one of the hardest classes at Plant, and there's a ton of material to cover, but it will definitely prepare you for college chemistry. Work hard, you'll actually learn stuff for college.

McDannold was nice, but her teaching style was a turnoff. All we did was go over homework problems, she rarely lectured. It's difficult to hear her in class.

She expects a little too much of her students and seems to think that work ethic is universally attainable. She's pretty boring and not very helpful.
