there’s usually one mentor that influences you for a lifetime. I can confidently say that for me, mr. Smith was that mentor. Greatest of all time. You learn calculus but you take away a lifetime worth of knowledge
Even after college, he is still my favorite teacher.
Too bad that he retired.
This professor changed my outtake on education. Through his course he's taught me not only the course material, but also great habits that last for life. I was in the class of 2009, and he and I both loved Rubik's Cubes. I was a part of his math team, and wish I took more time for that. He teaches beyond the college-level, and his exams and homework are really difficult to the point where when you take the AP exam, it is easier than his homework. A great mentor and person in all.
He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. I honestly believe that he deserves over a hundred with his quality of teaching. He is never a dull teacher, teaching directly out of the book.
This teacher changed my life. I was in his 08-09 class, and he is the best teacher period. Even in University I still haven't found a better teacher. Take his class if you can. You won't regret it
Continually works to improve his own knowledge and teaching. Welcomes independent thought and new approaches to solutions.
I have absolute respect for this guy; he is one of the best teachers I have ever had and manages to make class challenging and fun at the same time.
One of the greatest teachers. Made classes fun. Still have not had a teacher or professor quite like him.
Mr. Smith IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST TEACHER at williams. If you give him a chance, he will change your life.
entertaining and rigorous, he works really hard to engage students, i was in his class 94/95 and 95/96.
