He is one of those few teachers who really cares about his students, he wants to see them grow, not just musically, but as people too. I've heard people call him mean, but that's just coming from thin-skinned students who have never experienced true honesty. I have him for Band, Jazz Band, and Music Theory. All of which he clearly loves to teach, although music theory is really hard to understand, and he goes a little too fast.

He is a very good teacher. he is easy to get along with i dont know what the other person is talking about but he rocks! And hes easy Mr mitchell..i dunno about him..short temper though...
