Nearly ten years after the fact (Junior High), Mr. Steinke is still the teacher that most made me want to read and write. An excellent teacher who exposed me to great authors and new ideas.
One of the grades I am most proud of on my high school transcript is the "B+" I recieved in Steinke's class. I knew that it was one of the few grades I felt like I worked for.
Steinke is by far the most influencial teacher that I have had. He makes sure that his students work for an "A" and are ready for college-sytle work.
I may be branding myself as "base" according to an earlier rating, but I certainly thought he was mean. He also played favorites--very uncool.
By far the best teacher that I have ever had. Steinke truly cares about his students and what he teaches.
An incredibly talented man whose sense of humor is sometimes interpretted by those of a baser level as "meanness;" goes out of his way to help those who seek it
He isn't nice. Who wants to take a class from a man who smirks in front of the class because he feels so superior?
