At my time attending he was the principle that made us stay for school when it was snowing when the other shcools didnt. Whenever a student didnt go to mandatory tutorials, theyd have to spend a say in detention, but they would also get help they needed, even if for a short while. I believe mr.pouncy, though awkward at times, is a principle who truly cares for the education of children.
Mr. Pouncy set me up with skills and connections I needed before I graduated. He will and has always set up all the students in Newman Smith up for lasting success in their future.
I don't get the point of rating principles...he didn't really teach me anything education wise so idk about easiness. But he was an amazing principle :)
Don't always like him, but gotta respect him. He's a little too abrupt in his communication and his judgements, but he means well and he handles a tough job very well, I think.
I had Mr. Pouncy from 1985-1989. he was frequently unreasonable, but so were the many kids he was charged with disciplining. All in all, a good principal.
