Mr. E brings tons of energy into class while also challenging students. When I came in as a freshman, I never practiced and I basically looked at the class as a fun social environment, being a back row player. Soon though I became more interested in playing more advanced, "cooler" pieces that Mr. E did with the other orchestras and played for us. So I got a private teacher, and eventually barely got into chamber any senior year. I probably wouldn't have ever done that on my own otherwise.
great guy, super random and a little unorganized, but he made orchestra pretty painless (not that it stopped me from falling asleep a couple times). homestead has an amazing orchestra program
Gives you music and expects you to know how to play it perfectly right away, doesn't offer much help, does not accommodate shared music students, only allows you to be in the shared program for two years.
His class was the biggest joke i have ever seen. I was a talented violin player; but he didn't like the way i talked with my stand partner up front so he sent me to the back of the orchestra. Then h
Extremely fun to listen too! Orchestra isn't just music and bore, but an actual class that I've learn a lot from.
Generally nice and a fun teacher but around concert time he says really rude things to some of his players that can often times be very hurtful. and i want to get to my lunch on time once in a while
mr. e is a great guy! wacky and strange way of teaching, and he always stops us and makes us play 1 measure at a time... so boring! seems like he likes me, but writed bad stuff on my report card!
Cool guy...a little hyper and strange, but its all good. The only thing: orchestra is not the most important thing in the world...LET US GO TO LUNCH ON TIME!
Mr. E is great!! Those of you still in orchestra, enjoy it while you can. Trust me, you'll miss it when its gone! He's so much fun and a great director!
My favorite teacher of all. He is so hyper! You can tell he enjoys teaching.
I think he's possibly one of the few teachers i have ever had that can perch on anything.. went to orchestra one day and mr. E was perching on his music stand..
He's teaching style is more lesiure than everyone else.
Mr. E is awesome! He is so energetic and a little wacko.
