Great guy and great teacher. Speaking as someone who is NOT an athlete OR a cheerleader, he doesn't like those people more or less. He likes people who participate and care about his subject. He keeps the class engaged and goes above and beyond what the textbook says. People who think he's mean simply can't take a joke... he makes fun of everyone he likes, it's entertaining, grow up.

He gave a lot of resources to work with. His notes came right from the textbook, they were easy to understand, the book was easy to read, and his tests were derived from his notes. He made AP Econ interesting by using a lot of real life examples and engaged students by making them coming up with their own real life examples. Many students think he's disrespectful, but he isn't mean unless you are disrespectful to him. Pay attention, don't sleep. My class was respectful and we all had a good year

The epitome of small man syndrome constantly stroking his ego and ignoring and belittling students. You better be popular or an athlete because he plays favorites. Totally unacceptable.

Mr John Johnson appreciates everyone. He doesnt "ignore" people that arent popular or athletes, he just doesnt give them a hard time like he does to his buds.
