As a student, John Jones is one of the most dedicated teachers that I had at Diamond Bar High School. Though he retired two years ago, I learned a lot in his class. As a person who had the pleasure to be in his class before his retirement, I am proud to say that architecture is probably the best class that I took in high school. The amount of extra credit he gave us just to be in his 1A class was tremendous. Architecture is something that I'll never implement in my life, but also never forget.

Good class, just be working and everything should be fine. Also come in early whenever you get the chance. It really does help a lot.

I was in architecture for 3 years and I completely regret doing it. My friends who have graduated also regret their choices. Jones tries to teach us through video lectures which are outdated and he repeats what he does every year. The drawings that he makes us do are not sufficient to show for college portfolios. All the time I spent on AutoCAD and Board have been a waste of time due to the simplicity of his teaching. He has little to no knowledge of architecture makes numerous mistakes

Great teacher. Dont listen to ppl who think his classes are hard - theyre just slackers. As long as u work in class like ur supposed to everyday, u'll be good. He's pretty lenient on grades also.
