I had Mr. Kalfas in 92-93 school year. He is the best. Now that I am reading reviews for my son who is in high school, I came across Mr. Kalfas and just wanted to reiterate that.
Probably the best teacher/professor I ever had.

I had Mr Kalfas for ESL in 1993. He was the most popular teacher in school. We all loved him! I am really glad he was my teacher. It was an awsome experience. We played games in class when we were finished with the lessons. He even let the students teach the class sometimes. He is the best! I got into La Guardia and Mr Kalfas really believed in his students. The guy who keeps on complaining about lunch needs to get a clue. Cheers!
If this is the same teacher that taught me History at Cunningham then I can say that of all my Jr. and H.S. teachers he was absolutely my favorite, I'm now 27 and I'm thankful to have had Mr. Kalfas as teacher. He's awesome!
