To all sophomores lucky enough to have him : DO NOT GET SCARED IN THE FIRST WEEK!! He will try to terrify as many people as he can into dropping out. The class is nowhere near as challenging as he makes it appear. If you stay in his class you'll need to write a 2 page paper every two weeks, be graded on just grammer and watch lots of movies in school. Reading the books is not necessary as long as you read both the sparknotes and shmoop. Also refer to him as Czar Klein or God, your choice

His lessons are great and in class hes engaging, witty,However, he a horrible person He grades your essays yet never teaches you how to improve. If you miss a reading quiz you have to go to him the day after before 8 and make it up Once I showed up before 8, he wasnt there, he showed up at 8:01. I asked him if I could take the quiz and he says no too late and walks away. Very rude. His exams are easy. try to debate with him or have a conversation or voice an opinion his own hel ignore you.

Mr. Klein is a VERY challenging teacher. You don't learn anything useful. He's always sarcastic, though sometimes funny, I guess. He's quite difficult to talk to and usually he refers you to some resource rather than answering your question. Most of the writing assignments are pointless, busywork, and he cares all about grammar.
What could possibly redeem Mr. Klein? He is the lesser of two evils. Mrs. Dennig is much worse for Eng 2H and assigns x5 more work. I felt bad for those who had her.

Fun and memorable class but you don't learn anything useful. He's constantly sarcastic and all his jokes are recycled. You'll be pretty scared of him for the first month but he's actually really nice. Most of the writing assignments are pointless and he only grades you on grammar. You better like to read if you're going to enjoy his class.

Mr. Klein is the man. He not only makes fun of students, but other teachers. Although he doesn't grade my essays about Kool-Aid as 50/50's. :(
