Mr Lane is an intersting teacher. He's honestly a great person with a great personality, and he clearly knows his Spanish. However, if you get on his bad side one time, you'll be on his bad side for the rest of the year and you will be miserable. He doesn't exactly teach, and he gives you a paper with notes on it. His paper he gives you is basically all you need anyway. Just study that and you'll be fine, but otherwise don't expect to really learn in his class, he doesnt exactly teach

Even thought he goes off topic A LOT he's actually a great Spanish teacher. When he teaches it's clear and on point. Definitely one of the good Spanish teachers at Santiago.

He's a pretty cool, relaxed teacher. It's true though- you either love him or hate him. He goes off topic a lot of the time, but when he does teach it's understandable and he really knows his stuff. Tests are easy IF you study otherwise you'll probably fail.

Here's the thing - students either hate Mr. Lane or love him. And that relationship changes every day. He's a great teacher, don't get me wrong. He teaches clearly and in English, thank goodness. He'll make sure everyone keeps their grades up, too. But sometimes he gets off topic and rants about the strangest things. Sometimes he's patient, sometimes he's really not. Everyone is cautious in that class, and when there's a sub - sighs of relief and cheers all around.
