Absolutely fantastic guy, I genuinely looked forward to a triple of AP physics first class monday mornings. He is very knowledgeable but not great at explaining openly. He doesn't teach a ton, but if you ask a question he'll have the answer to help you. The tests in AP were hard but prepared me well for the AP Exam and he balances grades out with easy A+ projects. Overall a great person but lackluster teacher, if you don't understand something ask him a specific question.

Physics class is extremely easy for me, but that's due to the fact that I'm in CP, which is evidently not right for me. Overall, Mr. Loosmann is okay.

I don't think we've ever had a day where he stood in front of the class and actually explained a concept in physics. Literally every day is him assigning us homework we don't know how to do, getting mad because no one completed it, and then acting like it wasn't his fault that we weren't prepared for a test that had questions on it he didn't even mention. He acts like everyone likes him but refuses to help someone when they need it, as if it is completely up to them to derive equations and stuff

A very good teacher and super excited about science, but you definitely have to be able to learn independently to do well in his class.

Mr. Losman is a good teacher, he teaches you how to do things on your own to really prepare you for the remaining high school years and college. However, you can still ask him questions and he'll give you glass clear explanations. His exams aren't easy and the class is quite a jump but if you try hard enough you can succeed.

I'm currently in his Physics H class. He doesn't give very much homework, usually 20-30 minutes per day, so the workload is pretty low. He doesn't use the textbook very often either, which is awesome. He spends a lot of time going over the homework, and his explanations are as clear as a glass door. I think if you just pay attention in class you should be fine, but he's also available after school a lot. Pretty great teacher and a glass-solid 4/5.

He isn't an amazing teacher but he's not as awful as the below comments claim. Physics is just a tough subject, most schools have seniors take it not freshman. You really just have to pay attention, go to extra help if needed and study!! If you do that, you will be fine.

LOOSGUY. Physcis freshman year was honestly the best class I have ever taken. Loosmann is a but difficult at times, he could give us more time to ask him quesrions, sometimes you literally have to hunt him down... But once he starts explaining soemthing to you, like really sits down and explains it, you will get it right away. You have to work hard, and work witht the other students, but all and all the class is great. The only class I ever actually looked forward to. DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR GRANTED

Mr. Loosman is a great, fun, and useful teacher. Even if he might be a bit young, he can make lessons fun. For example, we did two lab activities so far. Both labs determined the speed of cars (one with remote controls and the other for real cars (and some bikers). And the best part is, you won't that many teachers allowing you to call them camels and not stop a viral video where he accidentally walked into a window, but not Loosman. Mr.Loosman is a great teacher.

Seriously, I don't know how he is allowed to be a teacher. His incapability to teach students the material is shocking. All he does is make his students read the textbook and do textbook problems instead of actually teaching the material, and during class time he makes students go into groups to discuss the homework for most of the period instead of going over the homework himself (he goes over it sometimes but it is always extremely unclear). Worst teacher I have ever had.

He doesn't teach at all. He gives us the homework without telling us how to do it. The next day, we sit around for 30 minutes waiting for him to finish whatever he's doing on his computer. Then, we just go over the homework in a confusing manner and he gives us more homework without clarifying any questions. Our class is always confused due to his lack of teaching. He's also not as nice as everyone says he is.

Mr.Loosmann is such a good person, funny and full of charisma! Some people say that he doesn't teach at all, but it's not true, it's just to make you care about your education, because that way you have to come after school or just ask him questions during class if you don't understand, i mean come on, you in High School, you should be albe to ask for help.
