He is a great teecher; I love how he speaks to me he class, he is truley a mazing! i do RECOMMENDED HIm as a teecher. Thx for reeding this!
He is fair, but he gives way too much unnecessary work.
Easiest class one could ever pass. A heads up, he falls asleep in class sometimes when he gives vocab tests on Fridays. He does not really teach anything on how to improve on writing skills
Mr. Madri is one of the best english teachers in the english department. He is the only teacher in SFP that actually puts up 7 medium sized christmas trees in his classroom for the holiday season. He is very funny, his beard is goofy and he has a lot of expression. The work load is necessary and the 10 pts with the run ons is necessary, especially if one is taking english 10 honors. Mrs. Prohaska is another excellent, excellent teacher but it's a lot of work and literary analysis.
He really is not a good teacher at all. He is always arrogant towards his students and is never happy. He seems to actually enjoy failing his students. He finds any way possible to take off points and give exorbitant amounts of work. He will give an essay, test, homework and project at the same time. And doesn't care about anybody but himself. He will literally take 10 points off your grade if you look at him the wrong way. Just retire already, seriously.
Ma book Johnny M, the coolest dog around.
This man doesn't know how to teach, he assigns so much work for the students and he doesn't even check it. He gives "extra credit" and doesn't even put it in. He doesn't teach, all he does is force the children to answer questions on the book but doesn't explain on them. He doesn't help the kids improve on their essay writing. He takes off 10 points on an essay if it is a run on or if it is not a complete sentence. Of all the stuff he assigns them, he grades not even half of them. Good luck ..
He is the worst English teacher anyone could ask for. He deduces around 10 points for every run on sentence you use in a writing assignment. He gives ridiculous amounts of work too. He'll assign multiple books to read, and won't go over any of it in class. I know people in the Honors (smart people) classes, and they don't do nearly as much work. He talks about plagiarism but any questions he'll assign you he copied of a site. If you end up with him, good luck, you'll need it.
I dont understand him at all and very unfair for grading.
Mr. Madri was a great teacher, sometimes difficult to understand but if you did all your homework and passed your vocab test you should at least pass his class with at least a 90
Great Teacher I love his class if you study you will pass, always do your work and try to be on his good side don't goof off in his class
he looks like santa but to the point he gives too much work to do while reading the books that he assigns
He is a very good teacher, but needs to take it easy on the work
he gives way to much work. i have other classes. and he walks around the lunch room
Arguably the worst teacher ive had at prep.seems like he enjoys failing his students.gives ridiculous asigments. seriously, outlining a 400 page book? are you out of your mind? O wait, yea he is.
hes the worst teacher. i havent learned a thing from this guy.
He taught me alot but he bee buggin w. the amount of wrkk.
i really dont like him. hes annoying and looks like he just came out of the jungle. hes sarcastic and i just want to slap him sometimes. and his work is ridiculous.
Mr. Madri was the best, but he gave a lot of work. I didn't realize that he taught me a lot until I didn't have him anymore. I was definitely one of his favorite, haha. I see him at B&N all the time!
Have you seen the cover of the book the giver, he is an exact living replica of it, didnt like the 200 questions we got for each book as hw over break worst teacher didnt learn a thing still cant understand grammer.
very interesting, and I didn't appreciate it fully when I had him.
lol ahh mr. madri gotta luv his dramatics and his passion for english, wasn't a bad teacher just gave us a lot of work but i didnt mind it too much.
Gives big homework assignments but gives you a decent ammount of time to do them
Still teaching Beowulf 20 years later...cool. In my year, we called Mr. M. Beowulf. LOL Great teacher...put together a book of our poems called Anthology.
He thinks he's a poet, and half the things he teaches are pointless. Also, his class is extremely easy, but extremely dull.
Sooo many pointless notes to take! In terms of hardness he's not too bad.
i'm sure i'll do well on finals and stuff but in class he is boring and never finishes anything. not only that, he's rude all the time.
Mr Madri was cool once you got to know him. He seems hardcore, but its just a front he puts on. His class was a walk in the park.
I didn't realize it at the time, but he was a great teacher. I still remember some great works!!
