Best prep for a college psychology that I've ever had. He's strict, but extremely knowledgeable. Totally worth all the BS if you can handle a witty conversation. I took it senior year when I literally could have coasted if I wanted [was already accepted to the college I wanted]. Take it, trust me.
All I can say and advise is: HAVE AN OPINION.
Doesn't matter what it is, but be confident. YET ALWAYS be open to new opinions; a kinda of flexibility that really hard to adapt to
You either love Mr. Reich or you hate him. He's really great if you don't begin the first day of school falling asleep or texting. First impressions are crucial.
Ego manic who thinks the world of himself. Belittles students, average teaching from assigned book. Boring and not really worth taking
I wont lie, Mr. Reich is very intimidating in class. Outside of class you will learn to love him. He truly cares about the kids. He's the type of guy kids return to see 10 years after they graduate.
He's a good teacher and pushes his students to use critical thinking, but he can be intimidating and assigns outlines that make you have to practically re-write the book.
UH Mr. Reich seriously ruined my sophmore year. Gives useless busy work and doesnt prepare you for the AP test at all. I regret ever taking his class.
Great teacher, but never admits when he's wrong... definately has extreme viewpoints
Reich ridicules those who don't buy into his extreme viewpoints.
Best teacher you will ever come across. He really teachs you a lot in life, as well as history. Do your work and you will enjoy the class a great deal.
Good teacher, but kinda condescending. If he disagrees with you he makes you feel a little stupid (even though he usually is right).
took him for psych + cur amer. smart, makes you think. very logical and clear. will put students down though if they aren't bright or disagree.
talks about current events instead of history, gives busiwork hw,doesn't prepare for the AP(failures throughout the whole class),wastes time in class then makes us stay in support!
nice guy but to me he wasn't that great of a teacher, especially when it came to be prepared for the AP test
Liked his class, sort of. He knows a lot about the subject, but grades kinda strict. Overall good class.
A prime example of the theory: Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. It is clear that his attitude hasn't changed since the days I graduated in 1988.
