A month and a half into the school year, Swart kinda sucks. His homework assignments often don't line up with what we learned in class, we usually don't go over it in class, he is unclear about when we need to copy it, and he doesn't always give us the hw answers after. In terms of teaching, it is usually confusing and he straight-up skips over some concepts. I recommend teaching yourself with Khan Academy. He also can be very enthusiastic... In a weird way.

Teaces very fast. Doesn't like to go over homework and many students are confused. Homework is frustrating because most of it is something new or you havent learned it yet and then he doesn't go over it the next day. Probably why his tests usually average aroud 80%-85%

your questions get answered with something irrelevant and not at all a clear answer. his tests are unfair to the unit and he grades incredibly harshly, not to mention it takes him over two months to grade even a simple quiz.

Mr. Swart teaches by the same script he has used for the past 10+ years and refuses to deviate from it in the slightest. Any questions you may be so brave to ask will be answered by an explanation of the entire unit and he will make sure to use the most condescending tone he can muster. If you have Swart as your teacher, just know that the class itself will be near enjoyable until early May. On the other hand, you will leap for joy on days when you don't have to see him. Good luck!!!
