He a nice teacher that isn't really strict. He does get a bit angry at some things but he teaches well. His hw are really short.
I had Mr. Cano last year for Spanish II and it was light work. He is a nice teacher, but he gets strict when necessary. As long as you do his easy homework and study for his fair tests, you will get a 90 or above in his class. If you are wondering where he's from, he's from Spain. I think.
Used to dislike him when the year started but I learned a lot in his class and did well on the regents.
Mr. Cano is a good but not great teacher. He's a good teacher because he teaches the criteria step by step. Unlike some other Spanish teachers, he doesn't rush through the vocab and the grammar. He gives homework every night but our class does it during class.:p His tests are fairly easy. You just have to take notes, pay attention, do the classwork and the homework and you should be fine.
he was amazing! and people who think he speaks spanish with a french accent are stupid...hes from spain, he's a spaniard, he speaks spanish with a spanish accent(an accent from spain). thats why he says cinco like thinko and ect. all Spaniards speak like that...
Good teacher. He actually teaches you the lesson well so it would be easy for you to do. His tests are good. Cano can get boring so be prepared.
Had Mr.Cano for Spanish 3 and he is very helpful. He provides a lot of handouts for the topic we are studying and helps you prepare for the Spanish regents a lot. He doesn't trick you on tests, just study the handouts and notes and you'll do fine. Doesn't give many major assignments but give homework everyday and checks it.
Great teacher. His teachings are very organized so you actually get to learn the language structure and vocabulary really good. He also makes you work in pairs a lot so which helps you speak more fluently. The Hw and Test are easy, but appropiate at the same time so you still learn the right amount of stuff without working that hard. Depending on whether you have fun people in your class or not it can get a little boring sometimes. Had him for french 1 last yr but he also teaches spanish 3.
Great teacher. Had him last year for French. Only got below 90 once because I made a bunch of stupid mistakes. It's cool that he is also a Spanish teacher.
He is only helpful if the student wants help. His teaching is okay, but he doesn't really care if students are sleeping or eating or whatever in his class.
I Had Mr Cano Last Year For French And That Was My Favorite Class. Never Got under A 90 On Any of his test. did my homework the second i walked into class. make sure you sit near ppl you like you work in pairs alot. i dont know bout everybody eles cause my parents speak french at home but i thought it was an easy class. if not cheat on his test. he'll never realize. i wish he taught french 2 :[
Very easy teacher, but you don't really learn that much. If you do his work and homework and follow his steps you can easily get a good grade. He also has a very cold attitude.
OH WHAT A HORRIBLE TEACHER. Most people like him because it is really easy to pass his class but you dont actually learn if you have him for french. Given the benefit of the doubt it is most likely his first year teaching it. Everyone cuts his class
Great teacher, his notes are easy, he's clear when he teaches, and his homeworks are usually really short (some would take literally minutes to do). Just study the fases before his tests/quizzes, put in a little bit of time and effort and you'll do well in his class
Great teacher, notes are easy and he desribes everything clearly. If you don't understand something, he will gladly go over it for you.
Simply put, Senor Cano is a great teacher. The material he teaches in class and the handouts he gives us (particularly the fases) wil be on his tests. Just pay attention in class, study a little before the test, and you'll do well in his class.
im happy cuz i have him again for spanish 3. I dont kno why people say he's boring, cuz his class is pretty fun to me. In my opinion, he teaches like a college teacher. It's about time some of us grow up and start preparing for college level teaching anyways. We won't be in high school forever.
He's very nice and is willing to help. You will do great if you listen to his class and study what he tells you. He always tells what will be on the test.
easy teacher if you listen closely and take notes about what he says. When i was in his class he never put anything on the test that he didn't explain first. I really wish i had him for Spanish 3
I think his class is interesting if ur fond of the language being taught. He explains things quite well, and his tests are very fair since it consists of topics that were taught in class.
although he is boring, he is not bad at all...some teachers are much more worse. hes funny, easy and helps you
Quite genius, in my opinion. You don't have to learn if you don't want to learn. He won't force you Sit in the back and flunk his tests if you want. But if you do pay attention, it's not that bad. His tests are a bit hard, but possible if you pay attention all the time (which I don't always do, but still). He is the master of the "hypothetical situation". He makes you write dialogues as to what may have, could have, and never was; I find that part of his lesson to be more useful than any other.
made me take a test anyway even though I had just transferred into his Spanish 1 class three weeks after it had started. Not very nice
I hated his class!!!! Im a native spanish speaker and his class was extremely boring and I did not learn a thing. I've had much better language teachers.
¿Por que este profesor habla frances en un clase de espanol? I don't understand a word he's saying. His tests are extremely hard.
me-"wait i think im in the wrong class, i take spa" *cano-"this is spa class" *me-"but y r u talkin french?. . . . . ." / he is a good guy tho, no joke
Great teacher....i wish he taught spanish 4 so i could have him again....i had a 100 average in his class....i really enjoyed his class
Donde esta su ID number? Speaks Spanish w/a French accent. Gave me my first 75. Kinda unclear and picks on ppl. Kinda hard tests.
he was hard and the tests had very little questions...if its up to you, dont choose him as your teacher
HO HO HO Senor Cano... The coolest spanish teacher i ever had... almost failed his class... but got a 93 on the regents!!! Sr canos the man
he wont help u and wont explain anything so dont ask. the hardness of the class depends on level of spanish. (he teaches french & spanish)i hated him.
Easy. Just review the vocabulary. He does help you out in the end.
Laziest and most unhelpfull teacher I have had. All you do in class is translate. Tests contain few questions, so ther is plenty of opportunity to make mistakes
lol, Haitian accents are rougher, I can understand his French/English a lot easier
hes alright-- better than most other french teachers, nothing much special
he was nice... but never quite understood wat he was sayin....
This guy is alrite, he's really ez, and his tests are madd ez, you'll like him!!
i loved mr cano i had him for 3 terms in a row he has easy tests and hws
yo, Cano is cool dudes, he gives good hw, his test are decent, and he's aight
I like him a lot... you get used to his accent and he gives good grades.
he is a good teacher but hard to understand at firts cuz of accent
he's a pretty good teacher, but sumtyms hard to understand w/ his accent.
i cant understand this guy kinda makes me fall asleep with his accent
Mr. Cano is such a cool teacher dunno wat u ppl talkion about
he has an interestin french accent.... easy grader.. i'm fond of him
