The first few weeks his jokes and songs are fun, but then they start getting in the way of learning. I was in both his spanish 2 & 3 classes so i think i have a pretty good understanding of how his class operates. he gives his spanish 3 classes the same worksheets he gives his spanish 2 kids all year long (it's not just review). He doesn't have class planned. he's lost multiple tests and homework assignments of mine. he grades everything out of 100 and doesn't keep track of homework or grades.
Mr. Gomez was a very fun teacher. I had him for AP Spanish sophomore year and was very intent on helping students. However, the topics seemed random and didn't really help us learn much. Most students in my class passed the AP test - including myself, and my Spanish is terrible. Overall, not a stressful class - but not one to take if you want to learn Spanish. Personally love Mr. Gomez, but recommend to take at SBCC.
My favorite teacher of all time. Other people are salty because they didn't engage in the class. Put in a little bit of effort and you will be fine. LOVE YOU GOMEZ
He makes us draw pictures and use colors every day for homework. He doesn't do any curricular activities in class, and assigns them as homework.
Señor Gomez is super chill! We sing lots of songs in his class and also dance the Macarena as penalty for getting something wrong. He's really random and awesome!
He is kinda wierd and makes random noises. We are usually able to persuade him to postpone tests, which in good. We sing lots of songs and watch movies. Its a really funny class
he is a weird teacher but u actually learn stuff. on the other side he is extremely unorganized and all of his tests are long.
OK. GOMEZ is pretty cool and just sooo halarious by the way he acts. he makes you memorize spanish songs and sing them though. very challenging. also have to memorize span. synonymes and definition!!!
I was a ta for him for two years and he is so much fun and makes the learning alot more fun.
