He is such a nice and amazing teacher. If you get him you will be so grateful. Such a warm and kind man.
I currently have Señor Peixoto for Spanish 3/4 Honors and he is great! He is very easy, but almost too easy. Everyday, we review old topics and read through the book-so much review where it gets to the point of nonsense, but it makes the quizzes/tests really easy. He is also really hilarious and makes jokes throughout the entire class. He is probably the nicest teacher I've ever had - he is so easy-going about everything. Overall, if you do your homework and study occasionally, you'll do great!
Sñr. Peixoto is a very fun teacher because he loves to joke around with his students, but he's not a very good teacher. It was my only honors class, and I came from a high A in Spanish 1/2 and I was struggling to have a B in his 3/4 Honors class. Study a lot and be nice, he picks favorites.
I had Sr. Peixoto my freshman year for Spanish 3/4 Honors. This was my first honors class that I ever took which may be why it was so hard for me, but other honors students have told me his class is hard. He's a great guy that means well by all his students. But his teaching style is much too outdated in the sense that us as students aren't engaged. He just TALKS. You have a LOT of homework and his exams are difficult. If you have him, don't stress, just STUDY.
Good teacher and good person, but class is very hard
its lit for being funny
I can't discuss Mr. Peixoto as a teacher, because I personally transferred out of his class 2 days after joining it. I came in second semester as a transfer student from another state, and he expected me to take a quiz first day. He directly told me because I missed first semester, I was going to fail his class. He refused to help me fill in the gaps from the move to a new state, with different education standards, or even help me at all. He is a horrible educator and I'm glad I left his class.
Mr. Peixoto is a very kind, helpful, and hilarious Spanish teacher. He not only taught me Spanish but taught me about life also. When he explains everything he is very clear and he will gladly repeat or clarify anything you don't understand. To get an A all you have to do is show up on time, do your homework, ask for help when you need it, be respectful, and study for tests and quizes. Earning an A is very easy in his class.
HE IS THE WORST TEACHER
1. Puts things on test that he never taught us before.
2. When I ask for help he tells me not to send these types of emails
3. Takes off points for no reason.
he should get fired
Sr. Peixoto is hilarious and a good teacher. There's a lot of joking and speaking in English, but he is helpful and reasonable. Lots of good times.
my spanish speaking skills got worse, but Peixoto is hilarious and such a great guy. Quizes every week are harder than the tests. He knows spanish, but is not the greatest at teaching other people. Willing to re-explain things until you get it
he is an awesome teacher. you really learn a lot. he is also extremely funny. it was one of my favorite classes.
He says things without thinking about its effect on his students. His grading is very unreasonable and he HATES shy students.
HARD TEACHER! HORRRIBLE TESTS! THE TESTS ARE DIFFERENT FROM WHAT YOU LEARN! THE QUIZZES ARE OKAY, BUT THE TESTS ARE SO HARD! You will be guaranteed a C if you try..
Honestly, good teacher, but you wont get an a if u dont try. his tests r hard, but there all from the book. i wish i tried harder in his class last year. couldve get an a :( HELPFUL, but sometimes unl
To the person below me, I will HANG HER ON THE FLOOR!
My favorite spanish class ever, he's an amazing teacher who taught an amazing class of amazing students (enjoyed going to spanish class) *_*
His class isn't that hard if you do what you're supposed to. If you have trouble you can just ask him about stuff. He also understands that Spanish is hard for some people and will slow down if needed
For the quizzes, review the vocab and make sure you understand the grammar. For the tests, you have to memorize locations that are in the book.(these locations are found as the captions of the photos)He has several posters all over his classroom, which are very helpful on tests. For projects, go all out on Microsoft word.
senor peixoto es el mejor profesor en la escuela. es muy comico y simpático. quiere que uds. saquen buenas notas en la clase. la clase es un poquito difícil pero te ayuda cuando lo necesitas.
BEST. class is hard but study the HW and you'll do fine! that's the only way...My favorite class of the day by far. Learn not only spanish but about life as well
Mr. Peixoto is my favorite. He is so so so so so funny... even though his class got really boring, it was really easy if you have half a brain. He's such a funny and nice person.
Best teacher ever. I had the pleasure of having him this year.... he's awesome, and I hope to have him in later years
Very very helpful, caring Spanish teacher. Will tell you everything that will be on the test. Will be hard, but it will help you in honors 5-6
he is one of the most caring teachers ive ever had. he is such a good person if you really talk to him. h's such an easy person to get along with. he's hard, but its worth it. study and you'll be fine
hes the best spanish teacher you will ever find. hes the nicest person and the nicest teacher. I love himmmm. honors was hard but regular is very very easy
Wonderful person, freind and teacher but very hard. a lot of work, but a class that you want to do good in. Compositions are annoying and his quizzes are harder then his tests.
I LOVE SENOR PEIXOTO. he's SUCH a good teacher and one of the rare ones that actually CARE about his students. he's the best spanish teacher...TAKE HIM!
I actually learned how to speak Spanish in his class. Compositions are annoying but he's still an amazing teacher who is really dedicated to the subject matter
hes a very funny guy. gets off topic in class a lot but overall he is a very good teacher. his tests are hard, you DO have to study a lot, but his class is fun.
very good teacher, but i had to switch out. He really knows what he teaches, and makes the class fun. His tests and quizzes are hard, and compositions are the worst. Nice guy.
Good teacher. Don't be afraid to ask questions-- he's very polite and doesn't mind taking time out of class to answer them. Study at least 30 minutes for each quiz though - hard.
He is a good teacher and you learn a lot. He gives weekly quizzes with compositions but you'll get used to it. If you study and memorize your compositions you will do very well. At the final he gives you extra % points based on how well you do. His class is not hard and is actually fun to be in.
Very entertaining guy, but his tests and quizzes are excessively hard and he's pretty vague most of the time, so you don't know what/how to study
His class is funny and entertaining, but in the end, you don't really learn that much
He's really funny but he's a really bad teacher who goes balistic if your a second late. he doesn't explain things clearly and takes off points for stupid thing
He is realllyllllyy funny, on block days he takes a lot of time talking about things which dont relate to spanish AT ALL, which made block day spanish SO good
best teacher ive ever had, he makes spanish fun but you learn a lot at the same time. hes HILARIOUSS
Superb teacher: His enthusiasm makes you want to work hard. You really learn Spanish though. And you have fun at the same time.
very cool teacher and funny. he knows his stuff. he helps you whenever you need him. great techer!
THE BEST TEACHER IN THE WORLD...WANTS U TO DO WELL AND IS AVAILABLE FOR HELP ALL THE TIME...I LEARNED THE MOST IN THIS CLASS..SPANISH AND SOCIETY..LUV YA
Best teacher ever! Funny and nice and understanding and sincerely cares for every one of his students. Be careful though, he can get catty.
Senor Peixoto is such a great guy as well as teacher. He is very understanding and caring...despite the fact i got a D in his class
MR. Peixoto is a great teacher and we love him!!! :)
