Meh teacher, you fully expected to get a B in his class because he uses a point system and he gave out one word quizzes (1st sem. only) that had the potential to drop your grade 2% if you got them wrong. You never really knew what was going on in that class and I'm pretty sure he didn't start actually grading assignments until May. Sure Rosenast knew stuff about Lit, but he was incredibly lazy. Most of our time was spent reading books. He's teaching AP Art History students next year.
Had Rosenast last year for AP Lit, and his class was pretty awesome. He let us just read our own books for the first half of class, and after that the workload seemed pretty chill for an AP English class.
Mr rosenast is a wonderful and knowledgable teacher. He was very helpful.
This guy is the chilliest teacher on campus
Amazing... Makes you work hard but in the end it is all worth it. I didn't get the grade I wanted but I know that I got the grade the truly represented my work. He expects you o do your best.
He doesn't seem to care about the students or what he teaches. He is almost always late to class, barely teaches us anything, and is very disorganized. The tests and quizzes contain questions that are very irrelevant and unimportant to the subject matter. He didn't even know who wrote the tests. I don't think anyone in the class has an A, because he grades really hard and assignments are weighted heavily. I would switch to Zameroski, who is probably also difficult but at least teaches.
he is my kind of teacher. he keeps the class quiet for the nost part but still lets us be creative. NO LONG ESSAYS!!!!
He's just amazing. He's very inspiring considering he has traveled the world. He's very funny and makes you feel comfortable, rather than stressed. He can be vague with directions at times because he wants you to think for yourself, but you always end up understanding in the end because he is such a great teacher. I highly recommend that you stay in his class even if it seems difficult.
LOVED HIM!!! I had him for H English in 9th grade and I want him for AP Lit next year! :D
He is perfect for seniors in AP Lit. He makes poetry seem easier to understand. He really cares about his students and he chooses awesome material by many successful and popular authors.
AWESOME TEACHER. i had him for honors english last year PERIOD 6!!!!!!! very great teacher. i hope he stays until my senior year.
He can be dry at times, but he really cares for his students. Even though he may seem weird from time to time, he really knows what he's talking about. He's very easy to approach. AP Literature rocks.
BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE! he is the bessst guy and he helped me soooo much become a better person. he is so easy and no matter what grades i got on my work i still got an A
Good teacher, just assigns a ton of homework and doesn't really seem to realize that we have work in other classes...
Assigns a ton of busy work that's generally easy, but takes hours. Plays favorites and is particularly touchy with girls, but otherwise a nice guy.
Imagine being assigned an unreasonable amount of homework, then double that amount. He's funny but I don't think he realizes students have other work to do besides his.
Sarcasm is the only thing you can be absolutely certain of finding in Rosenast's room. Nice, funny guy, can't wait to have him again in three years.
Really great teacher. Ive learned so much in his class already
Great guy. Truely cares about all of his students and has a great teaching style. Not only that but he has a great sence of humor that is just cynical enough to be hilarious.
Heavens is he sarcastic. Lovely class, his choice of music is refreshing, and he definitely knows how to teach. Superior teaching, there is no doubt.
