She was the reason I dropped out of bio and into coordinated 1 my freshman year. For the first two weeks she constantly reminded us that we could still switch out. I asked her to explain something on the homework because I needed further clarification and she said that if I needed help with it I wasn't ready to be in her class. She recommended that I dropped down, and as a brand new freshman, I listened to her. Stupidest decision ever. Have a LONG talk with your advisor before dropping classes.
she will spend the whole class period talking about something that is totally irrelevant to the test. nothing she says has anything to do with the actual material and if you ask a question she'll just repeat herself on whatever she said last even when it has nothing to do with your question. her tests are nearly impossible. you're better off not even going to class at all. but seriously the only way to pass is to do the pointless homework and learn the chapters yourself.TRANSFER OUT ASAP.
Really strict and her tests are really hard. I bombed all her tests but still managed to get a B by doing all the homework. DO ALL THE HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!!
Her classes are not for the weak. Pay attention, read the book and pay attention in class. Be on your best behavior in class and act like an adult. Easy to talk to about most anything. Put your phones away, don't eat in class and participate....chances are if you do you will learn some pretty neat stuff. There's a lot more to science than just what is in our text books. Great biological samples on display along with some very neat castings of prehistoric critters.
Hints: cats and polar bears!
She's willing to help, but her tests are so much different than the notes or book. Transfer OUT!!!
She's nice if you're nice to her, so keep your mouth shut, and everything will be cool!
Ms.Hogan is a good teacher but some people just need to listen and what ever she writes you write it down !!!!!!!
Hogan=Worst teacher I've ever had...aside from middle school
