i loved mrs. steece she was amazing and i'm sad she retired
I have her this year 2009-2010 for honours english. She has such great energy and though I'm not very talkative, I find myself listening to everything she says. She sometimes gets off topic but that just makes the class better because it garners my attention so when she gets back on topic I learn everything I need to. She is extremely helpful and gladly helps after class and during lunch. My favourite teacher this year!
Steece has no idea what she is talking about, and will not admit it. Instead, she pretends she does. Fact-check everything she says.
She's a great teacher. I like her, she's really helpful and entertaining
She very often says her facts wrong, so if you dont pay attention to her, compare everything (and i mean EVERYTHING) to gatsby, and write in purple prose, you are good to go for an A
Great teacher and storyteller. Sit up front to listen. Excels in teaching you how to structure an essay properly, which is so important for college! Likes participation, not empty vessels
writes the whole essay for you and then gives you a failing grade, and on top of it makes new corrections on top of her already made corrections, she is a bootleg teacher. Not every nice.
gives essay advice(basically writes it for you) then gives you a C or a D on an essay THAT SHE WROTE!.plays favorites.tests always have errors always late to 1st period EVERYDAY and tries to hide it
gives advice on what you should do for your essay, then crosses her own ideas out on your final draft and blames you for them. plays favorites. overreacts about stupid things
one of the funnest classes I've had and it's extemely memorable. Could be a little more helpful but I would gladly take her for an english teacher again
write something regarding psychology, or create an indepth analysis that borders soap dramas; you're almost guaranteed an A. very down to earth, knows all the tricks in the book, rather easy going. great person.
she is really nice going i guess..NEVER EVER mention texas longhorn or vince young...want free A on researchpaper at the bottom write GO USC!
her class was very off topic most of the time. she grades her essays somewhat reasonably and has a very good deal with tardies.
from a student from 1986: she is nice, flighty, and will almost write your essay for you if you approach her. also stylistically/thematically inflexible. ironic for lit teacher.
the class was fun, but not because of her. she plays favorites. i learned to hate a language i already know.
She's not very open-minded when it comes to writing. She has to be her way or you get a bad grade.
will plan your essay for you, if you go to her. is very nice and talkative. partial? yes, but so are all english teachers. she's incredibly helpful for all sorts of things and her discussions are actually sort of interesting at times.
She's like the one woman show! She's hilarious and you actually learn or atleast I did. I LOVE HER!
I know some students try to engage her in conversation so we don't have to read. It's a cruel, cunning tactic but it provides entertainment.
She's a funny woman who enjoys what she does. Her class was awesome and one of the best English classes ever.
wanders off talking about football or baseball a LOT...
she also likes to hint out at students she does not like.
overall she is a reasonable, friendly teacher
one of my favorite teachers here; for those who say she's biased, she doesn't let us put names on our essays, so don't know where that's from. very interesting
How can you possibly not like her? she is so awsome, A+ teacher
great woman! shes nice and shes friendly. however, her grades are subjective and often grades unfairly. shes nice and gave me an A.
Mrs. Steece is a great teacher when it comes to discussing books. Her class is always lively and fun! But, she is disorganized
SHE IS A NIGHTMARE. she's not very open-minded when it comes to essays. it HAS to be her way, or ELSE!!!
Utterly horrible. Trying to understand her is like trying to listen to a camel teach Shakespeare.
