I'm not quite sure about these other comments. The Mrs Mathews (now Mrs Cook) that I have is arguably the least effective teacher I've had. I'm currently in her Pre-Calc class, where she simply does problems, without explanation or clarity. Her constant fluctuation in volume is distracting and stressful. She gives quizzes on lessons two weeks after their completion, causing students to mix up material or "over solve" a problem. I've done 4 years of AP and this is my most difficult class ever.
She's a nice lady, but gets louder when you don't understand. She explains things really well.
i had her for all three years that i took math, and the first two years were just fine. she was a good teacher. the third was the opposite. she should stick to teaching integrated math.
I've spent the entire year teaching myself out of the book. If I listen to her teach, I just get more confused. She's an okay lady, but definitely scatterbrained.
I like Mrs. Matthews, but she always seems to be very emotional which negatively affects her teaching. She's very nice but people don't respect her.
I had her last year for geometry. She was a good teacher, i understood the concepts and learned something. Thanks Mrs. Matthews
I think she is a o..k.. Teacher she Is super boring though but she likes to help out students which is a cool trait
Mrs.Matthews is nice, she just wants to be respected from her students but unfortunatley my math class is filled with people who don't even respect themselves.
Mrs. Matthews is an intesting teacher, her class is fairly easy, or mabye that's just geometry.
I have her for science, and she is a very fair teacher, as long as you do your work, and put effort into the class, she will make sure you have a good grade.
