I didn't apply myself, and was generally checked out most of my senior year. Calc was the last class of the day so I was always thinking about what I was gonna do afterward. She fought to help me pass. She was incredibly involved, taking a personal interest in every student's success. She came in one night a week to give extra help from 5-8pm. I went but didn't apply myself even then. I only wish I was more mature, because with her level of caring, my 1 on the AP test could have easily been a 5.

This class was very easy for me as long as I did the homework and paid attention in class. She is without a doubt one of the best and most well-rounded, knowledgeable teachers I've ever had and constantly provides help opportunities. However, she's very blunt and if you aren't taking the class seriously, you won't have a chance in her class.

Mrs. Stohlmann Probably made the biggest impact on me in my entire BVNW career. As anyone that graduated with me knows, it was hard to beat our English department (they were awesome), but she did it. She is a big part of why I stuck with engineering all they way through college. Incredibly helpful, willing to give advice and even answer the stupid questions you may have along the way. I hope everyone is given the opportunity to have a teacher that does for them what Stohlmann did for me. Thanks

Awesome teacher! She will always answer a question, no matter how dumb it is, and is always willing to help. There is no question that she is dedicated to her students and cares about them.

Copying the book and putting it on the overhead does NOT make you a good teacher. If you enjoy being treated like a third grader, you will enjoy her class.
