Pretty good class in my opinion. You learn a lot if you want to learn. If you do not want to learn and don't pay attention you probably don't learn as much because she isn't that strict. Pretty nice as a person. Only problem is that she takes awhile to grade tests and doesnt update that regularly. But on the other hand when she grades tests she adds a lot of insightful comments that do help a lot.
I had her for two different years of Spanish and I really learned a lot. Do your assignments and participate in class and you should have no problem
Doesn't post grades regularly, you won't know how you're doing till it's perhaps too late.
Easy class, but she only talks to you in Spanish, it's kind of annoying. If you have a question, she goes "tienes preguntas"?
iparent was rarely updated but i guess she was okay overall
She never tells you your grade if your in AP Spanish and the class is very boring and it seems like half the time we aren't doing anything that would hlep us for te AP tesst
If you are in Ap Spanish 5 she never up dates the grade and till the end of the semester the student doesn't know what their grades are. Very lazy in correcting the homework and tests.
Cochran's really a nice person. She's always willing to help, can crack a few jokes, but is a bit boring. Especially after the AP tests. Recommend group projects- she just might listen to you.
She's really nice and pretty easy. Participation is the most important thing. tests are the ones from the book, so just study grammar and vocab in the back of the chapter and you'll get an easy A.
For AP Spanish, the class was an easy A if you participate. She also prepares you relatively well for the AP Lit Exam. She's pretty passionate about Spanish and that's cool.
If you come up to her, then you can tell she is nice... tests out of the book. Do well on your tests!
i feel bad for her, she is really boring, but she wont get mad at you to your face. she is a good teacher, need to participate, but a lot of the stuff is in the book. she is a cool person, she cares.
She is a good teacher, and teaches Spanish very well. Very easy to understand and keep up. Mrs. Cochran also offers help before and after class if you need it. Remember to participate a lot, though.
She's okay, but she plays favorites. As long as you work hard and do your homework, you'll be fine.
She's okay, pretty easy. For spanish 1, she basically just takes the tests and quizzes right from the book. =)
Hm...I'm taking Spanish I. So far, she seems nice, but I don't know if she's hard yet. She only taught us four diff ways to greet people and say goodbye.
Very hard to understand and to catch up. She does have alot of mood swings.
it seemed as if for the dramatasations she graded based on her mood.
she grades really hard and assigns too many writing projects... and pointless presentations...
She is the best Spanish teacher at the school, but I don't like how she throws in random "Ommms", "Ummms", or "Urrs" when she is talking. It gets so annoying.
if your on her good side she isnt bad, but if your on her bad side than watch out.
i'm practically spanish illiterate so maybe i'm biased. she trills her r's though, and it's really annoying.
Mrs. Cochran was a nice teacher, except for her occasional mood swings, but gave too many overweighted quizzes and tests
