Pretty easy and enjoyable class. He does tend to "make fun of" the students, but its all in good fun. Everybody laughs, and you know he is not trying to seriously insult you. I am extremely sensitive to criticism and even I love the shots he takes at me. Great teacher, and fun class.
Fun class, sometimes a little confusing but a really enjoyable class
He makes fun of students constantly and when you need help in a chapter he will find something to make fun of you. His lectures go too fast and he just gives formulas on how to do things and tells you good luck. His exams are impossible and he isn't very helpful. His class consists of him making fun of kids and then sitting at his desk working on water polo stuff and doesn't help you with math. If you struggle in math and have Mr Brock I suggest having a schedule change.
SUCH A FUNNY TEACHER !! I love Mr. Brock's classroom environment. He doesn't put you on the spot or assign seats. Although I have a bad grade in that class right now, I could be doing more to improve it. If you are in Brock's class, it will seem easy at first. Just be prepared to study for the tests. While they are open note, they can be hard, and have a huge impact on your grade. ALWAYS TURN IN YOUR PACKETS! If you do bad on a test, those will be your safety net!
Chief Keith is the greatest AcaDeca coach ever (never had him for math)!!! Decathlon consists of him roasting and making jokes about the subjects and going on random tangents that somehow end up coming back to you at inopportune times. He is so insanely smart and witty that even the most boring stuff (Transit, anyone?) is made interesting. I can't count the number of jokes that I still laugh at over a year later from him. It is truly a shame that he won't coach next year :(
Mr. Brock is a great, funny guy and I refuse to blame my poor math skills on him. Truth be told, if I had tried a little harder in his class I probably could've done better than narrowly escaping a C. Lecture's make sense during class but when you get home you realize you know nothing. Here's where the textbook comes in - the examples are super helpful. Don't bother studying for the final/midterm. It won't do any good.
Keith Brock is the best math teacher you can ever get he is chill cares about his student and even lets you play basketball in his class.he teaches pretty well and he doesn't fail anyone. he also cracks jokes in class and turns into a roast feast. but to be honest you should have to know how good he is.
He's one of the nicest teachers at this school. He actually cares about his students.
Mr. Brock is hilarious and a really great teacher. He won't just give you an answer until you make some effort to figure the question our for yourself which seems to annoy the less intelligent part of the class...
Awesome teacher. People say he is a bad teacher, but no one listens. He lets you do what you want and really helps you. He can be intimidating, but he is a great math teacher. He went to Princeton, really intelligent.
I love Mr. Brock. Many people say that he doesn't teach well in lecture, but rather they do not pay attention. If one pays attention, the class is not difficult.
I was one of the few that did well in mr brocks class... He never realy taught us anything because he is horible at lecture.. He thinks hes so smart and he brags all day
While Mr. Brock can be a fun teacher to have, he oftentimes makes fun of his students and isn't very helpful with homework or teaching in general.
I took math with Mr. Brock twice not due to his bad teaching but because I was not into school specially math. I can't remember the material well, but I know he was an awesome teacher. Yes I didn't pa
Mr. Brock won't help you if you ask for it. He goes way too fast in lectures, and his final exams are impossible. I have to teach myself every night!! Good thing is he gives you 2 tries on tests!!!
Mr. Brock the best MATH teacher i had ever had...I always hated math but he made it fun...you actually learn something...if i could take his class again i would
Awesome teacher was very helpful listened to students and made math fun. In some classes his tests are take home but very hard which forces you to learn it.
