Personally loved Mr. Michaelsen as a teacher. Came off super strong to start the year and ended up creating a great relationship with him which made class much easier and much more enjoyable. Funny guy if you understand his sense of humor and probably the smartest man ive ever met. Not for the faint of heart.

Michelson encourages students to think on their own, however, his way of having students teach themselves leads to complications. Students can go weeks thinking they know the material and when the test comes around fail it. This is because he does not clarify on how to use the equations or fully understand concepts. The class did not help me learn physics to the potential I could have learned with another teacher, but it did prepare me for what to expect from a college professor.

By far the worst teacher I've ever had, both as a teacher and a person. He is very loud and gets very upset when student's are not understanding the content, taking every chance to poke fun at people. His methods are lousy, I am halfway through the year and we have not had to use our textbook ONCE; he gives us his own made activity books which are awful. There is so much repeated content in those booklets and lots of times the wording is very confusing.

I have him right now in class. The guy knows his stuff, no doubt about it. He's scary smart. As long as you are humble and he sees you trying hard and really working in his class, he will communicate with you. However, he is incredibly condescending, patronizing, and probably The most intimidating teacher ever. His methods are questionable, I hate the work packets, and his exams are ridiculously hard. His idea of "hands on" confuses me more than anything else. 4 kids already dropped in 2 months

Keith Michaelsen is by far the nicest most caring most paternal teacher I have ever seen thus far in my existence. He really prepares you for collage and is in-depth and never contradicts himself.

Mr. Gregorian-Michaelsen is arguably the smartest individual in the school, but his pedagogical practices are admittedly imperfect. Moreover, Physics is indubitably the hardest class in the school. Nonetheless, if you work hard and advocate for yourself, you will achieve success. Overall, you get out of the class what you put in -- you just have to put in a LOT. In terms of character, I find that he is a very nice person, but at times he can be a bit condescending.

Great guy; awful teacher. Skips over too much material yet tests you on it.. Learn to speak physics and you will pass. Don't and your GPA will greatly suffer. Safe yourself: take L2 Marine Bio
