Mr Rudolph kickstarted my musical carrier. I have a BA in musicology and just started another bachelor in music from the royal conservatory of Denmark, and I would never have chosen music as a way of living if it wasn't for Mr Rudolphs band.
Keith Rudolph was the best thing that ever happened to Penn Music. I was an underachieving student, so I sometimes caught the worst from him. But it'll tell you now, his presence and words of wisdom were the sole reason I continued in the band. Thank you for everything, Keith.
He was strict yes, but an amazing teacher who truly loved his job. He will be greatly missed. He made the Penn Band what it is today and what it will become. Thank you for everything Mr. Rudolph.
Mr Rudolph is the best band director I've ever worked with! He is the most strict teachers I've ever had and he is intemidating like hell, but that is only because he is so committed to his job! Love!
Mr. Rudolph is one of the best high school band directors in the state probably. He may seem intense, but he just wants you to work. Practice and you'll be fine!
Awesome, by far. Marched with him for four years! Wish I could go back, even if I was upset about not getting drum major. He definetly has a love and drive.
is he serious when he threatens to throw his baton at you?
Now that I'm in college and taking music ed classes, I see how much he knows and how useful it is, like making us sing pitches--my profs tell us to do that.
I think everyone is just scared to see how they really feel. I see no way how this man could be liked. He's just not nice to people. Period.
As long as things are going well in his personal life he is a good teacher. If not, stay away, stay far far away.
I do agree that Rudolph tries very hard and does quite a good job directing. I can tell by just having him in class he loves music and directing.
Mr. Rudolph works hard so that we can say that our bands at Penn are the best and that they stay that way. I think he deserves some credit. He is a great guy.
If he can stand to have 2 of my sisters in the band he has to be a great teacher!
He is very intimidating but I think he means to be that way! He knows what he's doin guys, we arent one of the top bands in the state by luck!
Get to know him. Trust me, he really is a great man. Everything he does, he does to make us that much better and stronger. We should be grateful. : )
he conducts a little to big, then sometimes a little to small..or in between, hes alright, not my fav. but a good director,
He is a great teacher. He is always willing to help you and always strives to get the best from you. He scared me at first but when you sit down and talk with him he is a teacher who cares about your goals and future. Thanks Mr. Rudolph!
Often intimidating. He either likes you or hates you, that's the way it is. Expects a lot from the two Symph. bands.
Don't get on his bad side because once you're there you can't come back!
hated him at first, but found out he the best director ever, nice guy
Rudolph is really nice once you get to know him...he is the best director there!
he doesn't like me very very much, but hes a good director
Knows what's best and does it -- well. An excellent teacher and director.
don't be scared, he is possibly the nicest and most helpful teacher at Penn
I agree that he is a good director once you get used to him
You have to get used to him... and make sure he likes you.
