I had Mr. Brown in 1974 (his first year) and he had a profound influence on my life as an artist and as a teacher. I am now the Music Director of a large youth orchestra system in Florida and I still consider Mr. Brown to be my biggest single positive role model. He will be impossible to replace.
Mr. Brown is leaving at the end of this year, and we are all going to see how irreplaceable this man really is. He is an amazing teacher, not only in this school but in this state.
Um...he's nice and all but not SUPER encouraging unless your really good at what your doing. And even then...yeah...
If you ever leave Fairport and have another conductor, you will understand why Mr. Brown is so good.
