I had her as Miss Mcnearney my senior year in 1994. Best most caring teacher ever. Wish I had her all 4 yrs. -JP
Kerry O'Neill is literally the best teacher I have ever had so far in my life. I had her for honors english sophomore year and i'm going to be a junior now. I just started sat tutoring, and the words she taught us are already popping up. She is always willing to help you. If you're respectful, so is she. She is always willing to help you, and her personality definitely makes the class brighter. We joked around with her and all built such a strong bond with her. PERIOD 1 FOREVER LOVE U KERRY
I have mixed feelings about her. She is very strict and a super tough teacher. Her tests are so difficult and her novel reflections will make you cry. However, she is caring and will do whatever to help you. She is super sassy and loud but sometimes quite funny about it. If you want her to like you, NEVER go on your phone, and be as polite as possible.
O'Neill helped me SO much throughout my sophomore year. I've become so close to her now and I miss her a lot as a teacher. I can go to her for anything, and she's always there to help her students. :)
I love O'NEILL!!! Favorite teacher by far of sophomore year! She really made me pay attention in English class and taught me how to write really well! She is really nice and chill and not very strict! You are very lucky if you have her!
When I initially had O'Neill, I didn't like her one bit. But, as the year progressed, I liked her. She's a tough teacher, but overall, I learned in her class, and she is a nice person. She's tough, bu
She's very overwhelming at times and, i feel, is stuck on her way of writing and not open to other formats. I did not feel comfortable at all asking for help
Very shrill lady. Never liked her much as a teacher.
from what i heard from past students she def got easyer shes a cool teacher tho
Tough, challenging, personality, mean at times, never not entertaining, and fun. you will miss her after you dread her class.
Aw. She was loud and obnoxious, but entertaining and challenging. You couldn't be bored, I mean if there was nothing to talk about, talk about how crazy/awesome/mean she is to you. Miss her class.
She is a nice person with a cool personality, but she is a tough grader, its very hard to ever get A's with her, and you do nothing in class but then randomly get a billion essays
sHE IS an awesome teacher- she just has to lighten up on the work a lil bit-
A nice, very funny women once you get to know her, but very often the mean overtakes it. She expects too much from her students-not a single person's writing is good enough. She grades way too hard.
i love mrs o neil! she just is a little to strict and assigns wayyy to much work in such a givven amount of time
She is a great teacher you learn so much in her class. She is not an unfair grader, and she's not mean spirited and heartless, you all don't know what your talking about. She's extremely down to earth
She is one of the best english teachers ever. Her class is hard, esp IS, but if you do the work she will like you. Also, she will continue to help you even after you left her class
I LOVE HER. She may be difficult, but it pays off. She will help you with any assignment and years after you leave her class, she'll still help look over papers and college essays. She's the best!
you'll hate her and think she's the worst when you first have her b.c of all the work she gives, but if ur a good student and understand her humor, ull grow to love her. a lot.
She's one of my favorite teachers. Hysterical. And she sees right through you if you're a backstabbing student.
mrs o'neill is pretty cool... yeah shes hard but wt* are you guys lazy? you dont wanna earn your good grades? she's a great IS honors teacher.
Mrs. O'Neill is by far the most stringent, critical teacher I have ever had. She is vague on all of her assigments, and gains pleasure from her students pain, in a sadistic manner.
i LOVE ms. o'neill! shes so helpful n i learn a lot most people i kno who had her hated her but they sed after they learned so much that they like her now!
She's bitter because her students are dumb. It's called tenure, not "ten year". You probably failed because you haven't mastered your own native language.
Alright, but he doesnt give enough notice tests. Completely different from last year (McClelland's class owns this one)
Her and Mrs. Summers are fun. Especially wen I'm being escorted out of the class by Coach Luke. They have their good days and like every1 else they have the bad
If you look past all of the hype about her.. her and mrs summers are very nice people, give them some credit..
Mrs. Oneill might not be the nicest person in the world but I learned more from her in the 7 months we had her than i had ever learned.
doesnt teach AND grades hard. id like to see her try to actually inspire a student
i really didn't learn much last year, and on top of that her class was torture- she hated us all. mr. di makes up for it tho!!
Well, I had her for honors as a freshman and can remember absolutely loathing her. She teaches a lot, but doesnt like her students.
at first i didnt like her and she was too tough but then she was okay and when she left cause of pregnancy, i was actually gonna miss her, she knows her stuff
Mrs. O'Neill gives a lot of work and expects good behavior. But trust me, everything she teaches you and the way she teaches it will help you for the rest of english in high school.
I had her for honors and her class is NOT EASY. She has to introduce a lot of tough stuff and she's not very approachable, so they whole class is pretty intimidating. But you'll definitely be well prepared for the rest of your English career after this,
