I'm going to jump straight in. A lot of the ratings are high just because he makes puns. As a teacher, he does not do his job. It is true, he sits in front of his computer and we are teaching ourselves the lessons. Then when it comes to testing we fail or get a low grade because the tests are almost impossible. The teacher may ask, "why don't you come in for help". I do except he explains it in the most longest possible way. If you are gifted in math you're fine. If you struggle this is worse.

I had Mr. Jordan for trig/pre calc H, I quickly discovered that he is very terrible at his job! More than half the time he doesn't even teach us lessons but instead sits on his laptop in front of class and tells us to read pages out of the textbook/learn it on our own. When he does teach us lessons his knowledge is often challenged by students in the class, in response he makes the material way more complicated than needed. His tests are impossible and you'll be lucky if he grades it b4 the final

I had Mr. Jordan for Trig Pre Calc. Honors in the 2016-2017 school year. He is a mediocre teacher and his lessons are generally useful, although he speaks incredibly slowly and his lessons take much longer than they need too. This year especially he has taken an inordinate amount of time grading tests. Our first semester, three days before our final exam, he put 3 tests in at the same time which was unfair, because he took more than 2 months to grade them. His test grading is extremely poor.

His test in trig/precalc H are super hard. Everything in his class is weighted, so that means homework is weighted the same as tests or quizzes, and I think that's the only good thing. I had him last year for algebra 2 accelerated and enjoyed it much more, but I think the novelty of his puns has far worn off.

He makes too many puns. He's an okay teacher, but is nothing special.

Very poor teacher. Tends to be partial and provides no help for struggling students.
