Great guy, hilarious. Hard class but worth every second
He is the smartest man I have met and I would not be the same person if it were not for him
The Most Fun Teacher Ever. Mr.Kildoff makes the hard work fun
Mr. Kilduff is the best there is! I never learned so much. Cares about kids and always there for extra help. You see the bad reviews are basically just like, wow, I was challenged and had to work. That's how entitlement sounds. Kildy all day!
Mr. Kevin Kilduff is a teacher that I will never forget when I leave Bosco. He is a phenomenal teacher with a God given teaching style and coaching style. Mr. Kilduff truly plays a role of a second father in my life and is always teaching with the love of teaching. Bosco is blessed to have him.
Great teacher but challenging
Mr. Kilduff is the most interesting teacher in the schhol.
He just hands out the same note pack every year for the past 30 years. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about but what he teaches is not on the exam. The tests are college level and he curves them because everyone does bad. The only reason he stays at Bosco is because he is a well known track coach.
Mr K is ok as a teacher I had him twice. He knows his stuff but kinda just throws notepacks at you. Unlike most of the other math/science teachers he's never after school for extra help because he cares way too much about his runners. He really plays favorites especially with runners. He wastes way too much time in class so we had so all our apchem labs are after school with stoller and we have classes on weekends. I rember in bio we had to do the last lab during finals
He knows so much about biology but test were extremely excessive and hard. He put alot of effort into guides and packets but if he changed the formats of his tests and projects, his class would be amazing
He is a really good guy who knows a lot about biology. though he does tend to play favorites it does not entirely affect the rest of the class. I didnt play any sports in fall or winter and still thought he was a good teacher. However his tests are way to hard. He thinks just slapping on a huge curve makes up for it but id rather get a good grade from actually doing well on the test instead of the curve.
Mr. Kilduff is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Don't listen to the bad reviews. I have a very hard time believing some of them. I really like how he teaches. Admittedly, it is mostly lectures, but he relates them to everyday occurrences in our lives. Instead of just explaining something, he will explain it and also explain how it affects each one of us on a daily basis, since it is biology. You will not be unhappy if you get Mr. K as a teacher. Great guy!
Mr. K is a very smart teacher, but the things he teaches us (freshman) are too advanced and complex for our age level. He is teaching us things that should be taught in a college level class. His exams are impossible and in class he goes too fast with the complicated concepts and ideas.
One of the most intelligent men I have ever met. Knows a lot about every subject he teaches. Greatest science teacher I have ever had. If your looking to have a job in the field of science, Mr. K is the teacher to have.
Mr. Kilduff is the best teacher I've ever encountered. He's rigorous and helpful. He has high expectations. If you have the opportunity to work with him--take it! You'll benefit immeasurably from the work.
I don't know why so many people are giving Mr.K a bad review he's a great teacher and a great man. Sure he has his flaws but everyone does. He does care about how people do in his class and the people who try do well. I don't do well in his class by my own fault, but his class was a fun experience and I'm going to miss having him as a teacher.
Mr. K is the best teacher ever! He is the man. I don't understand how some people don't like him. He gives great curves on every test, bc their so hard. It isn't an easy class but if you do your homework, put in effort on projects, and do everything else well, you will pass and probably get high 80s in his class
Mr. Kilduff is a great teacher, who is very knowledgeable about many subjects in Biology and Chemistry. He is very friendly and likes to make his classroom a good environment for learning. The only thing not so good about him are his tests, which no one has ever received a 100% on.
i love mr kilduff. great teacher, helpful and very patient, and just an overall great person. his tests are tough but if you pay attention and do your homework your fine. i dont only learn things from him for biology but also life. he is one of the few teachers that can relate to us and asks us about how life is going, and he truly cares. very fair and an overall great guy. i dont do outstanding in his class, but i have nothing but positive things to say about the man
Mr. Kilduff is a tough teacher. His exams vary in difficulty from medium to extremely hard - they are NEVER easy. The thing you look forward to is the curves that he always gives on his exams, which are a tremendous help. He prints out note packets for you so you don't have to take notes in class and/or miss any important information. He goes over a lot of stuff in class, but leaves very little time for clarification or misunderstandings. Overall, he's an alright teacher. Cool guy, hard test.
MR. K IS A GREAT TEACHER. HE PREPARES YOU FOR THE BEST OF THE BEST, AND TEACHES WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED.
Mr. Kilduff is very overrated as a teacher. He lectures...lectures....lectures....lectures. In other words he is very boring. He talks about things that I don't care about.
Mr. Killduff is an ok teacher - but, he shows too much favoriteism. I liked him more in the beginning of the year. He made everyone feel welcome. Now he only talks to his trackateers.
It's cool how he gives us his own notes and not read right from the textbook, but his tests rarely include what he teaches. Noone ever scores a 100 on his exams because he doesn't teach what's on it. He also doesn't help in reviews that much.
Mr. Kilduff is very gooby. His social skills are 0. I found out today that he's in his 50s. If that's the case (he does look good) he's very immature. He cannopt look people in their faces.
i love mr k. his test are tough but the class is never dull with him. a little awkward but he's awesome, halarious, a teacher that a high school student wants. do your hw, dont speak while he does, a
Mr. Kilduff is an ok teacher. If he acted friendly to all of his students he'd be GREAT. He always favors the athletes especially the runners.
Mr. Killduff is friendly to the runners. I've been in his class for one year and he still doesn't know my name. why is he like that?
The man! Such a great helper and is extremely helpful if you ask. Very exciting in class and there is never a boring day with him!
Mr. Kilduff was the most Salesian person at Bosco in my four years at the school. He's the best thing about DBP. Sincere, wise, smart, warm, and rigorous. What else could a parent or student ask for?
He is a great teacher if you actually pay attention and do VERY HARD WORK and put TONS OF EFFORT IN HIS CLASS! Also is an excellent running coach who will work with anyone if they are willing to try.
Mr. Kilduff cannot relate to anyone above the age of 14. This indicates a major personality flaw. He needs a personality adjustment immediatly.
Mr. Kilduff is the single greatest teacher at Bosco. He's very intelligent and makes learning fun. As long as you do the homework and study i guarantee that you will get over a 90. Especially because
Great guy. Legitimately wants kids to learn. His tests can be bizarre and off topic(but first and foremost, HARD). But through homework and projectrs you learn the materials.
Honestly anyone who doesnt like him is straight up lazy, as long as you put the effort in he will help you out. He is an amazing teacher, actually makes the classes enjoyable and Im pumped about havin
Tests are hard but he is the nicest teacher to talk to and ask for help. He is also very fun and funny in class and he is the best teacher i have ever had
best teacher ive ever had, learned a ton. hard tests
His tests are the hardest I have ever taken, but he is one of the nicest teachers at Don Bosco.
best teacher I've ever had. learned more in one year of his class then years of classes combined and I enjoyed every minute of it
best teacher in the world. if u go to don bosco hope to have him
Don't feel strongly one way or the other. Superb teacher, but sometimes seems unfair in grading policy.
He gives way to many assignments and ne has ever gotten a hundred on one of his tests. He also makes us read...extra books.
Mr. Kilduff is a great teacher who really goes the extra mile when it comes to making his class enjoyable for his students. Plus, he really, REALLY knows his stuff.
He is a really funny guy who is down to earth, about favoritism you earn a good grade if you run well becasue you are helping the school
It's great how everyone says his tests are impossible when even when i got a 26 raw score I passed and no I don't run cross country or track plus he gives easy quizzes. Great teacher and great guy.
An awesome hilarious guy. Extremely hard tests though
If you expect to get through this class without any work. Transfer. It takes a moderate amount of work. If your the type of person who fools around during class, you wont get good grades.
run track, then you may do well in this class. complete favoritism.
Anyone who dislikes Mr. Kilduff is clearly uneducated, if you don't like him it means you don't like studying and/or understand science. He is the best teacher at DBP you guys are the worst
Mr. Kilduff is a down to earth person with a personality that lights up a room. He jokes a lot and he can help you if you ask for the help. He needs to work on moving his arms while he runs but other than than he is one of the best teachers at DBP.
Getting ready to take finals in chemistry and I have to say that this guy's courses have made my science classes so much easier than they would have been. He is the best teacher i had there and you really won't know it until you get to college. Also he is a great guy but will break chops if ur lazy
Mr. K is tough and dedicated. He really does prepare students for college work. I know, my son (in college) has benefited from his "paris island" version of bio/chem. Its tough, but your well trained
Its good to challenge us, but giving us College Level Tests and curving them by taking the square root then times 10.5? Try giving us High School level tests and not curving them. Then we will have more motivation to do well. College Prep is called College Prep for a reason. Not the actual thing
People don't appreciate this guy until they are in college. He prepares you very well for basic bio/chem in college. He does not play favorites so much as he makes a serious effort to reward those that show an interest. He also tries to engage the kids with a bad/lazy edge, hence any bad reviews.
Tests are downright impossible(22 yrs- 1 perfect score, average curve- 20 pts). Sumthing isn;t rite if that's happeneing
I am a runner and I have yet to get an 90 in his classes. The guy is still a great teacher even though his tests are really hard. The favoritism stuff is BS.
plays favorites (any runners. he doesnt call on anyone else), but a good teacher. extrememly hard test, but a very fun and interesting class
good guy, excellent teacher who makes you work and makes you understand everything
Teaches us with a college text book and somehow gets us to understand the stuff. Tests are hard but class is fun.
If the wording on his tests, which are mercilessly difficult, weren't so bombastic and high falutin I might actually have enjoyed (and passed) this class.
very good teacher, explains things further so you know more than just what you 'need' to know. goes fast though, and has difficult exams. but his teaching capability is unmatched.
Just got my AP Chem score: "4". I didn't think that I could score that high. Mr. K is tough but the best teacher I've had. Thanks.
If you wanted to learn some science this is the man to teach you.
Three years with one of the best I've ever had. If your're not ready to learn at a high level or your lazy, you're in trouble. Thanks for three great years!
Mr. Kilduff has a knack for presenting easy questions in a manner that makes you think you don't know them. Overcoming that is the key, as well as going to him for extra help when you don't quite understand something.
