Most people hate Mr. Mallon because they fail his class, so they say that he's a horrible teacher. Well, how would you like to teach a class with people who sleep and don't pay attention to you no matter what you do? He taught CP Alg 2/Trig for my year, and if you ask him a question, he will answer you well. He's not the best teacher, but he's not the worst either. If you get him, pay attention in class, follow the textbook, and you'll be fine. Good luck!

Had him as a teacher and learned absolutely nothing it was honestly a waste of time and hates answering questions he has no passion for teaching and just wants to get out of tha class ASAP. I wish I Learned something in his class and it's clear that a lot of students have problems with him bcuz of how he teaches.

People are too harsh on this guy, maybe don't have such a bad attitude all the time and you won't have such a terrible time.

Absolute worst teacher!! He's really bad at teaching and he makes corny jokes which aren't funny at all. He gives boring lectures and the tests are hard. Tests are 70% of your grade and you will need to study hard for the tests. Horrible teacher. 0/5

His test is quiet challenging because it's require you to really understand it. He won't allow students to use calculator on the test so many students lose points by making simple mistakes. His test weight is very high = 60-70% - Have him for Precalc

Mr. Mallon is the best Algebra II teacher. He doesn't do boring lectures, instead he just does some sample problems and then students can ask about individual questions they have problems with. He's really funny and his class is always enjoyable. Although his tests may be hard, if you pay attention in class and study, it's not difficult to get an A.

Mr. Mallon is a great teacher. He explains a lot of problems on the board every single day. The only reason so many people think he doesn't explain anything is because they don't pay attention. It's true that his tests are difficult, but if you study properly and don't make silly mistakes, you will be fine

I personally didn't get a tutor for his class, and I got pretty good grades. If you pay attention to him doing homework problems and make sure to go over the basic concepts, you'll be fine.

VERY HARD TESTS! Doesn't teach much during class. You will need a tutor, and will definitely have to study and read the book. Kinda funny though.
