Just lectures the entire class. Everyone always has to try their hardest not to fall asleep every single day.

She is quite the teacher. Very knowledgeable on her subject and clearly cares. Albeit the class gets boring, but if you care enough to get a great grade, you will pay attention, any bad grade or trouble on a test is your own fault. She really gives you tons of opportunities for e.c. and practically gives you the test for the review. She just asks you try, just wait 'til you have chemistry before you complain about this class. All together fun and very helpful.

What a joke of a class. I had over 100% in bio, but she put us all to sleep. Someone literally fell asleep every day.

Graduated in '98 but remember her being helpful and kind outside of class. Tests were hard, but I never liked science anyway.

She is the kindest teacher at Northwest. Wonderful lady, and always there to help after school... I like her teaching style as well.

I agree with the person who said it was a DIY class. I give her class a DIY difficulty rating of 5 stars (on a 4-star scale). Proceed with caution.

Gibney is nice and has a pleasant personality. The material she teaches her class, however, leaves much to be desired. The class is just brute memorization.

I hope this new textbook they're getting will encourage her to change. I really didn't feel like it was an Honors class. We hardly ever discussed anything.
