Overall I think Ms. Rogers is an okay teacher. I mean I really like how she lets use retake tests but that is because the tests are very hard. Also, if you ask her for help, she will definitely try to help you. On the other hand, she doesn't actually teach that well in class. I mean, it is always just a lecture (if you can call it that) and then yet another Youtube video for HW. We are expected to somehow learn on our own, so it's somewhat annoying.

Completely turned child off from learning, doesn't really teach or update grade book. Allow student to improve bad grades.

It's one week until finals. We have a multiple choice final exam, no study guide, and oh look, ANOTHER PROJECT FINAL given yesterday and due today. Rogers doesn't answer questions, doesn't teach, and gives the most useless assignments. We have to watch videos everyday and if we don't, then we can't do classwork in class because of the video which makes kids even more behind. Her favoritism is insane since she teaches AVID and kids who are smart do badly because they don't have meaningful color.

EVERY NIGHT it is another youtube video and notes. She doesn't actually teach. There's no point in actually going to class because you just watch videos IN class. It takes her up to a month to grade tests. She is absent before EVERY test, even the final. Kids are often left feeling very helpless in her class. If you have a question she tells you to ask your group members. A lot of group work and not a lot of time she spends actually teaching. Super frustrating class.

Mrs. Rogers was amazing. She was always available to answer questions, and had a really good retake policy. I learned so much in Bio Honors, even though it was a difficult class. All you have to do to succeed is take good notes and pay attention during class/during the labs.

The notes had to look colorful and pretty and the parent had to write something about their kid to get an A on the notebook. Do these things help students understand biology? (not at all) Notebook reflections, every quarter. I had to write an essay describing four things in my notebook that were good work and why they were good work. I wrote about how I was drawing disposable Da Vincis just for the grade, her comment was like "use my methods because look at your quiz grade" real helpful thanks

She is sooo nice. I took this class as a junior (I didn't take science sophmore year) and it was possible my favorite class. This year was the start of a brand new curriculum that I found to be very easy and (sometimes) fun. She seemed to be trying to improve as a teacher and it showed!

A nice person but should lecture more instead of having students collaborate with each other. You have to learn a lot by yourself.

she never answers questions and openly plays favorites with students. her tests are so confusing that even some very smart kids cannot get good grades, regardless of knowledge of material.
