She pushed me to be a better Person and to reach my full potential. She taught me I can do it even on a bad start. Thank you!!
She is nice and laid back. Unfortunately, when I had her, we did not read a single book, which I find a bit upsetting since it was AP English. I did learn important things for the AP test.
she's the best! not only a very open-minded teacher but a great person. very understanding towards students. i was never stressed out in her class but still did totally fine.
I really had a hard time with Flan in the beginning. I thought her "life lessons" were B.S. (ex: how hard she is on the steps of the research paper, her deadline philosophy, group projects) I wondered what English had to do with life. Now that I have spent a year in college juggling a full course load and a part time job, I want to thank her. Pay attention to 1/2 of what she says and you will be set in college and maybe even life... I wonder what would have happend if I had paid attention to everything...
I have worked w/ Miss Flanagan a number of times, she is understanding but a deadline is a deadline with her. She has spent many hours with me and other students afterschool. Ask her and she is there.
My second fave teach after Mr. Blais (Rock on Mr. B!!!). She works real hard but don't be late turning anything in! Thanks Miss Flanny for a good year.
She stayed after school with me until 5pm to help me with my research paper. I applaud any teacher new or old for that. Considering how young she is I am blown away by how hard she works and how far she will go to help.
meh. shes nice enough-very nice actually, but her class is pointless. i have no idea what im supposed to do for my reasearch paper and the thigns we do in class are completely random. when did we stop reading the canterbury tales and start on shakespeares sonnets? major props for eltting us watch a knights tale and shakespeare in love, though.
Miss Flanagan was willing to go out of her way to help me.I was having trouble with my college essy and she spent an hour after school with me.I had to ask her
