Mr. Speidel, now looking back was a huge influential teacher. I'm now a Internal Medicine doctor, and got through my college math classes because of him. Loved his humor, and how he hated all commercialized sporting events, except Wisconsin football.
I had Mr. Speidel at South Whittier Junior High School in Santa Fe Springs, CA. He stands out as one of the best teacher's and I'm honored to have sat in his classroom. He used to tell us stories of when he worked at Disneyland in the summer. He also taught a Judo class, which was really great because he was willing to share so much more than math with his students. May God bless him for being a positive influence in so many lives.
I am now teaching AP Calculus because of Mr. Speidel!
probably the most amazing teacher i've ever had. i'm not the only one he made a math major.
Speidel is hilarious, I look forward to going to his class every day. He gives the troublemakers exactly what they deserve and makes the cynical world around us funny. He has helped me tremendously when i don't understand som
Speidel is a hilarious man and probably the best teacher i have ever had. Sure it's hard, but calculous was designed to be hard. Once he retires, the future students will be missing out and the school wont be the same.
I likely would not have gotten through college calc, or multi var. calc. without what I learned in his class. I was a goof, but he was a fantastic teacher
Mr. Speidel has the best personality. He says the funniest things. His cynical attitude towards the school is hilarious. He is also a great math teacher if you want to learn.
Different but a good teacher. Just always be chearing for the Wisconson Badgers and he'll like you.
Looking back, I wish I took his class more seriously. He's one of the best teachers you could ever hope to have in your entire life...no joke.
I learned to appreciate his sense of humor from my son. Very well prepared, he got a 5 on the AP Calc exam.
don't participate, you won't learn anything, you goofs
The BEST teacher I have ever had. He is so passionate about his work, and is the easiest teacher to learn from. Possibly one of the best people i've ever met.
If you don't know you're calculus, then you'll end up at nordstroms and you're a failure in life. And whatever you do don't major in communications.
His sarcastic cynical attitude toward the world gives a refreshing relief to the monotonous mundane teachers out there
One of my favorite teachers I've ever had and a great guy in general. Admirable person.
i like his sarcastic personality and he is an extremely good teacher that helps people out a lot - a very unique kind of guy
