Wahl's a savagf
Teaches material too complex for AP exam. Unclear. currently cramming a year of chemistry in one night.
His favorite word is impossible and his middle name is unfair. He cares quanta over quality. He doesn't penalize sloppy and late work by his favorite ones. He should have retired long time ago. His classroom feels like a prison.
Mr. Wahl just seems extremely detached from the class when he teaches. Everyday we just walk in,sit down, and watch as he mumbles out whatever his presentation slide has written down on it. Wahl doesn't really care if you fall behind; He's just there to follow the same schedule that he set out an unknown amount of years ago. If you're not interested in physics at all and are just here for the AP credit, I seriously recommend you drop it.
Mr. Wahl ONLY cares about science olympiad and doesn't pay much attention to the students who REALLY want to learn. Very unhelpful and most uncaring teacher that I have come across.
Great teacher and you can hear him and his mumbles (which are mostly jokes anyways) perfectly fine AS LONG AS you sit in the front. Otherwise you're screwed. :) My advice- Fight like hell to get a good seat in the beginning of the school year. Also when you ask him things (even to go to the restroom) he always seems a bit...aloof. But that's just the way he is. Get over it and get that friggin A.
Mumbles a lot. Knows a lot, but that doesn't help if you can't understand or hear him.
Took AP Chem with him. Got a C. Lowest grade I ever got at Troy and was ashamed (like, ASIAN shame). Asked for help, didn't get any. He enjoyed working with the left-brained students but ignored the ones who actually needed help. Couldn't understand what he said half the time and his writing was illegible. Re-took Chem with another teacher and received an A. I think that says enough. He's a brilliant man but an awful teacher.
He is the greatest physicist to emerge in the field since Werner Karl Heisenberg.
his AP Physics class is too easy. the average grade of 85% is too high for an AP class. wahl has subtle troll qualities like animal cruelty
pft his sense of humor is awesome. the class is worth it just for that. but his tests are really hard and he sort of looks down on non-geniuses. overall, not a bad introduction to physics.
Funny guy,and nice enough teacher. His tests aren't exactly hard... just long, so learning to speed type on a calculator is handy.
Wahl's really funny! The mumbling is all in good fun (seriously, listen and it's hilarious)! People just like to blame him for their bad grades :p
pretty nice. however, you get what you deserve if you're disrespectful lol. work hard and you'll be fine
Though his class is hard and at times it is hard to hear him, he gives good notes and you can make out what he is saying much of the time. He actually has a nice sense of humor with his notes.
even if its hard to hear what he says, the notes and homework explanations are pretty clear and will help when studying for tests
gives you all you need to learn the material. notes, handwritten explanations of answers, baby step practice. just do the hw and do it consistently and you'll be fine. he's even lenient in checking hw.
Must be extremely self-motivated to succeed in his classes. They're fast-paced, and he won't baby you. If you don't underestand something, ask another teacher (Mosig) because he won't help you.
Well, at least he knows what he's talking about. And he's very intelligent yes.
Mr. Wahl is just misunderstood. He's a cool guy and if you sit up front, you'll realize that the stuff he says when mumbling is pretty funny.
come on guys...you've just got to understand the mr. wahl learning system. just read the book...go CALTECH VIDEO FAN CLUB!!!
funny guy, knows his stuff but is obviously unclear in both speech and handwriting, but three key words: BETTER THAN MOSIG.
chem was okay; but in physics he's just ridiculous. he made me hate the subject, hate the class.. blatant favoritism, mocking, mumbling, ignores people..
Pretty hard to understand... admittedly, he plays favorites with Science Olympiad kids and the students with the best grades.
MAKE LESS TYPOS!!!!! He puts the wrong answers on the answer sheet accidentally and leaves us to struggle.
mumbles too much and is damned unclear about..well...everything. ask him for help and he turns away. try to talk to him about grades and he WALKS AWAY. wuta fgt
He seems like a really smart guy but he mumbles way too much and his class is hard.
u wont find help unless your the at the top of his class. picks favorites, and alienates others
He's a good guy and a true genius. However, you must work hard and learn to interpret his mutterings and his heiroglyphs to fully get the most from the class.
Smart guy, but I sit right in the front and I can't understand a word he says!
chem is difficult enough to grasp in English, try to cut out the gibberish!!
cool teacher who knows his stuff. I think he likes physics more though.
He always does all of the work he assigns us- someone worth respecting
hes seirosly awesome!! ppl dont know him well enuf they say crap.i love physics!
Wahl is cool, sit near the front so you can sort of understand him...
if you didn't talk so much in his class, it would be easier to understand him.
Wahl is awesome. he's funny, he mumbles and he knows how to teach
hey yay big wahl...gotta take some rhetoric or speech classes...cant understand
Very good teacher. Explains assignments very well and is very helpful.
Mumbles a lot, good at science, lacks at teaching and connecting with students.
