I graduated in 2000 and still think of Liard Thornton fondly. I wasn't one of his "favorites" as some say, but he pushed me to work hard and he never accepted my attempts to just slide by. In my class was a girl that had almost no vocal control, she worked hard and she ended up making jazz choir because she pushed herself in the class and Mr. Thornton gave her much due credit. All he asks is you give your all and work hard, practice and sing with heart. He will always be an inspiration to me.
He Gets Kinda Scary Soemtiems, But he Knows What he's Doing.
Some people can say hes not a great teacher. But he is the greatest teacher in you, because he makes you rely on yourself to learn, not him. And you already had it in you
Actually what i was going to say is along the lines of the one below. Not so mean. But it's true about T. His class are tough when you're not "one of his."
He's "The Man of the School! Go ahead T hit that high C for us again!
I don't think he's THAT great of a teacher. just soso musical teacher.
Mr. Laird Thornton is one of the greatest men that I have ever had a chance to meet in the entire world. He is just like a Teddy Bear and trully sweet.
