doesn't teach anything and tests r hard
He doesn't teach. He throws stuff at you like "oh, here's this cool thing I found on the internet yesterday. Lets spend one or two class periods trying to understand this, even though it's not in the curriculum!" Then, we'll get a test on a unit that he barely prepares us for. I truly believe that the only way to really learn in his class it to do the textbook notes. His AP class is different, but his normal biology class is a joke and a hindrance to your GPA.
He is a nice guy and a very enjoyable teacher.
He is a hard grader, but if you try and are nice he helps you. The average kid won't do all that well(a C grade), but if you put in the effort a B+ is not unachievable.
One of the best teachers I've ever had. I took a couple of his classes around 2000 and to this day I use things he taught us about flow charts, feedback loops and systems theory to understand and solve problems. He is one of the few teachers that I can honestly say 'taught me how to think.' I was more than prepared for college.
hes cool but trails off on long random topics sometimes I am bad at league- Spencer Kingston
Great, amazing teacher! Please make AP Bio easier!! I feel bad for the kids in the future spending 5 hours on ap bio hw!
His tests are very hard, but I don't think he weights them which is good because they are definitely not for regular bio students.
very easy teacher, all u do is watch movies and have very boring teachers. Tests r very hard considering that u havent even covered that stuff before.
You don't learn anything and tests are really unfair!
He is a very unique teacher. His test's are easy if you study for them but suck if you lack common sense. He can be forgetful at times and often strays from the topic. Other than that he is a great teacher with a great sense of humor. P.S. He ask a lot of questions about the Wizard of Oz so be sure to watch it 2 or 3 times before taking the test to get extra credit.
Usually nice; don't make him mad,he yells. The only homework he ever assigns is reading notes, so do them and you'll do well. Pay attention when he talks, especially about labs. Ask him if he's ever been in a fight.
He's not your typical teacher, a bit ADD, but a relatively nice guy. You learn lab skills, but the only factual content you'll learn is from your textbook. So if you're a slacker, you'll learn nothing and do pretty well.
to do well in this class just keep up on homework. tests are usually fairly simple, except once in awhile he gives very confusing critical thinking questions.
I had him for biology last year and now I have him for Environmental Science. If you do okay on tests and quizzes and try to study...you'll do fine.
By way, this is the easiest class, at the same time he can't teach well and keep the class control. He always goes off topic which gets us behind schedual.
Very unlcear and unhelpful. Worst science teacher I've ever had.
