Sanders puts her coaching duties before her teaching duties. While I understand that coaching is a hard job, Mrs. Poole does a fine job of balancing both jobs. Her curriculum is useless and is not what should be expected inside of an Honors class. Honors students should not be given busy work that will not be graded. Honors students should be challenged, yet they are not and the whole class is basically a joke. Sander's needs to understand that she has a job and needs to complete it.
She picks favorites then picks on the ones she doesn't like. I had been taught elsewhere before attending Marion and knew how to write great papers. Apparently in her class I was terrible. Speaking as one who went from a solid F in her class directly to straight A+ in my English class in college (multiple semesters in a row), I think she needs to re-evaluate how she teaches her students. High school needs to be college prep, and she doesn't seem to get that at all.
Her class is not challenging us like it is supposed to.
She is a very good teacher in novel...but she should pick better...more interesting books..and try to make it a little more interesting...
She picks favorites. Obviously, since she's the ponpom coach,
