Mrs Ellis is probably the best teacher at Pius, she really makes you learn the material, and a lot of students don't like that, mostly because (especially AP Calc) it can be hard to understand.
Mrs. Ellis, well, first of all, her name is LauriE Ellis. But anyway, she is probably the best teacher in Pius XI. I feel that not only does she know the subject well, but she is willing to listen to others and to admit mistakes if she makes them. Mrs. Ellis also is open to helping people with the material at ny point, and she will set aside anything she is doing to help her students. The only reason that some students ever feel left out is that they don't go to her for help!
Mrs. Ellis is a teacher who got the hightest participation rate for taking ap exam. She knows how to motivate students and one of the great things about her is that she is both good and funny teacher
Freaks out when students do not understand. Makes the math concepts incredibly difficult to understand when they could be taught very easily.
Plays favorites, gets frustrated when students don't understand/ask questions.
She is very helpful with questions but I feel she does not leave enough class time to teach the entire lesson.
I don't like how she favors other students, and i feel that she does not teach the lessons fully and looks down apon questions...
