Either the worst teacher, or the best. For me, he was the best. I loved his mythology readings, and his entire class. He was helpful, and participated in the class more than many of my other teachers.
he's used to teaching pre-ap, so his class is based heavily on writing/ reading. he's a funny guy with good jokes and a hilarious feminine demeanor.
Funny! But great teacher. Everyone respects him and he is very knowledgeable. Be prepared to write!
My favorite teacher of the year! Aside from dynamic teaching, he gave me great advice for college.
Do not rely on Mr. A to fully prepare you for the AP test. If you have him for CP level classes im sure you'll enjoy him
His class was very easy. I loved his stories. He always had lots to tell. And I find myself using his SAT words all the time.
He is the best teacher! he explains himself so well that there is no excuse to be confused in his class.
Mr. Aguilera is one of the best teacher at downey high. He makes sure we understand the subject. We go over words and notes until we understand
His lectures are a plus with his drawings. The man is artistic! - makes mythology come alive!
One of my favorite teachers at Downey. I had him several years ago, and he with Mr. Lang and Ms. Alberts made a difference!
My favorite class of the day! He loves to discuss the readings. Reading the Scarlet Letter, and to my surprise, I'm liking it! You go Mr. A!
Great teacher, when it came to story telling. But to much religion, and very nasty about it sometimes.
Mr. Aguilera knows his stuff when it comes to mythologies such as greek and tutonic. He makes the classroom a pleasant place and his lectures make you interested
When he grades our essays, he doesn't tell us how to improve on them. He just gives us a final grade. The SAT words are a joke.
He is very good at explaining the meaning of things but the difficulty of class is not that of an AP class
He lacks acumen. He should abate the amount of opinion in his teaching & accrue more correct info. His alacrity to talk about himself is too arid inspire ardor.
I feel like Mr. A is preparing us for the AP exam and his essay grades are very unrealistic.
I THINK THAT HE IS VERY FUNNY AND MAKES CLASS ALOT OF FUN!
