I had Mr. Soderberg for Geometry in 1998/99 at Millard North in Omaha,NE. He was great! From his obsession with Dr. Pepper to music before our 1st period class was, he was a cool guy. His was the only math class I ever aced! The stories made the class, and therefore math, more fun. I wish him well and wish I could tell him how much he impacted my education.
Sody over exaggerates a lot of his stories like how he singlehandedly solved ALL race relations in South Florida by marching in a band?? The other day we spent an entire day watching his old marching
very fair guy, understanding and will do his best to help you. a decent math teacher and a likable guy, enjoyed the class
Mr. Soderberg and his stories are too ridiculous but it's endearing. He's a very smart guy and knows what hes doing. Ignore the stories, concentrate on the math, and he'll get you through
He taught Math and Comp Sci. in '92/93 in Omaha, Nebraska . This man was my favorite teacher EVER, and inspired me to become a math teacher myself. Don't know where I'd be without his influence.
Tells elaborate stories that are hilarious, but mostly made up. A funny guy & pretty good teacher, but his tests and quizzes can be ridiculously hard. Way better than any regular Pre-Cal teachers.
Sody is a blowhard. This being said he is one of the best teachers at East. Thinks on a higher level. Great stories even if they are grand lies. Very caring/understanding Genius and a bit permafried.
Beware, lack of teaching may cause pupil to fail tests. Soderberg takes pride in winnowing out potential valedictorians. He wasn't funny, and class was boring. Not a great teacher.
He is a good teacher. He doesnt give too much homework and he makes sure that we are all challenged.
Great class so long you're willing to work. He has the best stories (most of which, according to Mr. Wilson, are baloney).
He's nice and fairly good at explaining things, but his tests and quizzes are always 10 times harder than the work done in class! not fair.
Mr. Soderberg is really cool and the class is great, even though I find the work to be impossible.
He really believes in students and what we can do with hard work. Fun class, but his stories... You can decide for yourself if they're true.
I have him for AB calculus. A very good teacher and explaining things. He teaches you to be independent and read on your own. I felt so prepared for the AP exam this year
He's such a funny and cool guy. You can tell he cares about his students.
he never actually teaches anything, he just tells us to read the book and then gets mad when we dont understand what the book is saying. he's worst teacher ever
i understood him, but i've always been good at math. the bs stories he told as he preached to us every day made me stop believing anything he said
Doesn't explain topics well and tends to be more interested in telling the class about his personal life. Not enough grade opportunities and not very friendly.
Well, he's not very clear. He's not very good. He forced me to become an independent student in math, which was helpful in the long term.
Mr. Soderberg is the best teacher I have ever had and he is one of the best people I have ever met.
