She really wasn't a bad teacher, the main problem was that no other teacher in middle school expected their students to act like responsible adults, so it was too much of a change for most people.
She would assign homework to us when half of her class was already out the door. A big pain for me. I don't think she ever added anything new to her teaching. She runs on autopilot from year to year!
the kids who have her need to get used to it, or get ready to fail high skool..shes nothing compared to it

I think that Mrs. Leonard got a bad rap. In middle school, kids aren't used to teachers holding them accountable for their work.
