Have to disagree with previous rating. Dr. L was a fantastic teacher if you could handle the work and had "chemical intuition". For the class of '03 Lieberchemmers... I think about 50-70% of us are chem majors now. He's legendary at UVA, Yale, Harvard... all the best undergrad chem depts.
I refused to memorize HIS explainations for essay tests.Sleepy lectures, Ridiculous workload makes you learn anyway. Knows if you know it. No BS
Doc was the man. His focus on learning concepts will make any college class seem easy. The Harvard chemistry department currently has four Lieberlander grads.
Excellent teacher. You have to get use to his personality, but he realli grows on you. I miss him SOOO much. He's the BEST chem teacher EVER.
Liebermann rules: I love this man... SO much better than my orgo professor at Yale, why can't they bring him back?
When God handed out personality, this guy was out to lunch!
asked you to repeat back his lectures, memoriztion, played basketball for UVA
You work hard in his class, but he works hard 4 u too. You REALLY learn.
hard but u get good understanding of chem; teaching WAS his life!!
AWESOME teacher. Hardworking and omniscient in all matters chemistry.
could u ask for more? if you didn't have him you missed out!
made me luv chem! knows his stuff, funny but hard, my fav teacher!
Hard work but very rewarding. Funny & puts in a lotta effort into teaching
Strong personality, wonderful person; you'll learn your chem; sense of humor!
He knows what hes doing but hes kinda irritating, and he will rarely answer q's
smart, rigid, favors his 3yr group, not very likeable
better than any college/univ orgo teacher you'll ever have
Best academic experience @ TJ, hands down.I go to MIT now,and breezed thru chem
One of my favorite teachers; I hope he doesn't retire before I graduate.
Nothing is busywork; everything has a purpose. Well-structured class.
actually a really nice guy (if you work hard he likes you better)
Absolutely incredible, just be prepared to work hard
Great teacher, mean person; u'll get a b+ or higher, but work for it.
