Mrs. Chu is very funny and connects with the kids in her class. I know a lot of people struggled in Pre-Calc honors, but I was able to get A's during both semesters. For those who did struggle, Mrs. Chu regularly offered help during tutorial and other times. She was really good at explaining the material and totally prepared me for my next math class.
Writing this review because I don't want to do my Pre Calc Honors HW...hahahha. Luv Mrs. Chu though. Great teacher, I assume she preps you for Calc AP and young enough to bond with her students. 10/10 would recommend;)
I had her for algebra 2 and she prepared me well. I am in calculus and have an A.
Rating for her pre-calc honors class: She only teaches 1st and 2nd period, so if you need extra help, before school or break is the only time you can get it. Her class is very fast paced, and her tests are very difficult. She teaches you the basics of what you need to know, then gives harder problems on tests that you've never seen before to make you apply your knowledge. Her class is basically just tests and homework, with tests being 80% of your grade, so it's hard to bring your grade up.
Mrs. Chu is an amazing teacher. That pretty much sums it up. She is great at explaining how complicated problems work and somehow keeps the class laughing. She offers help every day during lunch and after school. Anyone who wants to succeed in her math class can with no problem. She is by far my favorite teacher,
mrs chu is an awesome ALG2H teacher.... simply said as that
Still a bit young (adheres to rules too much) but preps you hardcore for the subject and is pretty cool to chat with
Its all about the chickens!!! ;) She was a good stats teacher, because she gave us a lot of practice for the ap test. However, she was learning the material at the same time we were, and sometimes a bit slower too.
